Cos I do rough shooting and get the odd pheasant here and there and I wonder if they've been relised or they have been raised in the wild. Just curiosity I suppose. -

Thanks mate, how long you reckon, 1 month a Pheasant can be considered a wild bird? -

Hola amigos, Can somebody tell me a physical difference between a Wild Pheasant and a Pen raised Pheasant?

Saw 2 today, I was ferreting and they've flushed, not far one from the other, I couldn't take the shot at either of them. I am getting a German Pointer next months... Can't wait for my pup to be old enough to point them!!! Beautiful bird!!! -
Cheers buddy will do!!

So it's possible but expensive.... Do they charge per bird? Per day? Where can I look? I'd love to walk up grouse over pointers!! Can you find it in England or need to go to Scotland??

Hi, I am originally from Spain, been in UK for 14 years. In Spain I used to have German Pointers and the hunting we were doing it was for Red Partridge. For me there is nothing more exciting (talking about hunting) than a well-trained Pointer Dog pointing at the quarry, waiting for you for as long as it takes to get there and then waits for you to give the order for attack….. I have been privilege for about 8 years to have a permission with lots of rabbits, and very good pigeon shooting in the summer. We flush the odd pheasant or two when we are ferreting as there is a massive shoot next d
