  1. hello lads, is the meeting at seven houses a race day or just a show?
  2. the dog wasnt to full fitness all season as i just simply didnt have time to get him where i wanted him to be. have you used the treadmill yourself for getting dogs back to full fitness?
  3. hunting season is coming to an end, so this year i'm going to give my lad a go at the lurcher racing. he is relatively fit now galloped around the fields every morning. thinking about getting him started on the dog walker/treadmill, anyone have tried it? if so for how long would you let them on it? etc.etc. i know these have been a great success for greyhounds as my cousins and neighbors have proven in the recent years of coursing. any advice greatly appreciated
  4. Hello my friends springer bitch had a litter of pups. the dog was a lab and the bitch was a springer. just wondering what way would this cross work he offered me a pup so i am half tempted. i just want the dog for hunting mainly hares to rise them and maybe to flush a few foxes. so if i could id like to try to get the pup quartering and barking in cover. i have only dealt with lurches and greyhounds so i am not quite sure how difficult this could be all help welcome.
  5. hello thanks for the reply it isnt to mark rabbits in particular its just to rise the rabbit or hare when the field is netted. do you think the dog will not flush out at all? thanks for your time

I knew the previous owner, I have hunted the dog 4 times this week and have caught 25 rabbits but when he pins the rabbit what I wanted him to d o you have to put him on the lead straight away or else he will just keep running around the field and jumping ditches. I I'm not disappointed with him but it's a bit of an in convenience
