we was unlucky today not to get a kill, but had some great chases! in a couple of weeks when the cover dies down it will be a lot easier for us and the birds... thats when we will be getting the kills! also we still lamping tomorrow matee??

Nice one lads! mitzi around my end, killed quite alot off! still quite alot though but not as much as they used to be.

Whats your biggest bag so far on the new season? and is there more rabbits this season or less from where you live?

Listening to the ferrets chasing the rabbits around the warren, seeing the ferrets working the warren and seeing them bolting into the nets! ferreting is brill! just got to do the right sets at the right places!

Get some good meat down him mate, try dog food that tends to put weight on quick as well! the ferret will only eat when hungry so remember when there is still food in the hutch, hes full! atb brad

I personally think you started them to early mate, everyone starts them when they think they are ready some young, some old but i tend to wait till there about 7-8 month of age! from what you are saying they are playful (immature), or maybe scared, as i have came across this with some of my mates ferrets. try and approach the hole very slow, even get on your knees, try and pick them up slow aswell that might help! atb brad.
