  1. Yeah, that's on the list with a standard AA one. Alternatively, might just get an adapter and pinch my mate's PH mod and see how I get on with that. If it doesn't work for my S510 then I could always ask for it to go on my ticket and stick it on my Ruger. Cheers for the tip Billy.
  2. Cheers, my Deben one is pretty crap and I'm looking to change it. Just mooching around and willing to look at others, especially if ones like yours are very quiet. Nice one Billy, Chuck
  3. Sounds good, what's the mod you're using?
  4. Loving the barrel and the mod design
  5. I think the criminal offence should certainly be there as a backstop to govern the cases as Ideation quoted. Otherwise, if I ever missed any school my parents always ensured I caught up as much as possible before I went back. Those with c.25% attendance records are obviously in need of further attention to improve the engagement - a criminal offence might prove the inspiration needed.
  6. I can totally see where you're coming from and don't think they need to be overtly teaching the differences about Islam and Christianity and such like but I think it doesn't hurt to be open and provide a grounding for these types of differences. It could very well be that children are turning up to schools and finding their first experience of other cultures and skin colours. By talking through some of the differences (in a way that 5 year olds can understand) it can help promote more tolerances and therefore a more harmonious classroom (putting the mayhem of five year olds to one side for a
  7. Silly me, here I was thinking you had replied to the content of my post (given you quoted it) and you'd switched from your racist rant to then stating 5 year olds get classes on sex education. I was referring to your children and how you'd choose to 'educate' them. What I said was marginally tongue in cheek but I wouldn't expect you to get that. If your entire family works in education and they all think it's a total disgrace then maybe they should seek another career path as they're not going to be trying their best or the best advocates for the curriculum they're working with.
  8. Dont get me started mate,my son is 5 years old and they wanna teach him about fecking muslims to say i went mad is an understatement. Why the fecking hell does a 5 year old need to know about that Home school him then if you want to censor his education that much. Because state education is great...oh wait Schools will always vary in quality but things can be improved with the level of interaction and support provided by the parents / guardians at home. If you have an issue with the quality of your child's teachers then take it up with the head. If you want your c
  9. Yep, they've priced it at a rate that is a pain but not too extortionate and therefore affordable. If it was much higher then far too many people would just tell them where to go and dare them to start the legal proceedings - which I think would be too much of an unwelcome distraction and cost to the LEAs

  12. A few key pointers from the Home Office about installing a gun cabinet. Installation advice Any security device should be securely fixed to the fabric of the building. For preference it should be in a room or area that does not have direct access to the outside of a building. It should not be in a garage, shed or other outside building, except in certain circumstances. When considering large or heavy gun cabinets, you should consider the load bearing strength of your floors. Wherever possible, it should be fixed to a wall that is built from bricks or concrete blocks or to th
  13. Farmers should be able to do it as and when they feel it's warranted. This would mean that they can have direct control over the potential impact on their herds and also removes the chance for the antis to target one area / timeframe with their disruptive activities therefore reducing the cost for the police. I've seen first hand the impact of bovine TB on cattle and a farm's ability to trade and it just feels to me like the Govt are dragging their heels far too slowly over this issue. Stop pandering to Brian May's brainwashed idiots and give the farmers who are already being squeezed
  14. Half expected there to be a sweaty sock taking off his string vest and holding it over a rabbit hole ready to catch a bolter.
  15. Cheers for the tip, but I'll give them a wide berth. I'm not against what the OP's doing at all, I was just curious if he understood the terms of the General Licence in the context of what he was doing. It was a simple enough question with plenty of scope for a 'yes, that's all considered and taken care of' type response. Some other good threads on here so I won't be straying too far
  16. I think football has become too much of a business on both sides of the table (players and teams). Far too many advisers need their pay cheque from deals like this so they'll dictate the pace of the deal and when he finally decides to sign (or not as the case may be). Rooney wil say he just wants to play football week in week out and enjoy himself, but you just feel that if Chelsea came knocking with a really lucrative offer he'd push for the move. Just depends if anyone really wants him that much as we'd be more than a little lost without him at the moment.
  17. Difficult one. I perceive it to be more on the dad that shapes the answer to that one...They either a - welcome you and treat you well until you make his little girl cry / scratch his car / drop his gun or b - treat you with contempt and harbour nasty thoughts as you're doing unspeakable things to his precious daughter. I'm in the 'a' camp at the moment with my father in law and plan to firmly camp myself in b when my little girl is old enough to date.
  18. Hi Evan, it's worth having a look in the Game Shooting section a few threads below on the main board under the Shooting and Fieldsports opportunities banner. That's the focal point for people wanting opportunities or posting about ones that come available. When the weather's good it's a cracking day out and I don't blame you for wanting more of it, but when the weather is crap and the birds are few and far between it can seem like a long day haha. As the game season is coming to a close you might find that people don't renew their place in a syndicate and a few become available, then it'
  19. As the Stig mentioned, you can use Google search to help you find some older content. As an example I typed this "ratting terriers site:www.thehuntinglife.com" and it brought up threads going back to 2009. By putting the site name in the back end of the search like above it'll help focus the search so you're not trawling through all the crap from other sites too. Hope that helps some.
  20. It was a lawful killing of a low level criminal (all he was charged with) when intelligence pegged him as on his way to take revenge for an act on his cousin. He had an illegal weapon that they had tracked him picking up. If it wasn't the police at that point it would have been someone else (gangster or police) in the not too distant future given his lifestyle and the situations he obviously tried to seek out. I believe the officer that pulled the trigger honestly believed there was an imminent threat. I'm less convinced about the stories from the other officers and I'm least of all con
  21. Wouldn't have expected anything else coming from someone like you. Enjoy your evening.
  22. Firstly, I'm not your mate. Secondly your first post didn't read like that. I asked a few questions and didn't make any accusations so calm down. I'm perfectly aware how Magpies are classified and can have an impact on the local birdlife. I've taken my fair share and always ensured that I'm complying with relevant instructions whether issued by the land owner or Natural England. I couldn't give a monkeys if you've met Barack Obama before and what you think of other people's opinions. You posted on an open forum, I commented and of course you will do whatever you wish in the privacy of
  23. Long term supplier of my local butchers. He always has a demand for them. Sells more than I shoot, so he's happy to take all. We have an agreement that any that are too bad to sell, I buy back for the same price and while I'm in the shop I cut the meat off and mince it all for my own use. Nicely done, always good to keep it local! Love that you can use his equipment to prep your dinner - better the mess in his shop than your kitchen too
