  2. i don't know of a decent use for these.... don't understand the appeal myself
  3. shoot them through a 30ftlb rifle they go supersonic and all over the place....they do go through car doors and the panels.. and into the centre console...scrap car back in the 80s with a gas ram theoben pumped up till busting point and arms like arni to cock it...lol They used to only be in black....and hardened steel points not alloys...if you did hit anything live it would just pass straight through no visible damage you thought you missed but you didn't most of the time they just didn't cause any damage unless you hit vitals or head shot...

  8. When i first brought my ND100 designator i went for a walk local to me along established public foot paths just with the designator no gun to see how good it was...lots of rabbits munters and foxes along a river thats split into three sections, well the response we got from a house backing onto the fields where the footpath runs was totally extreme... this guy was ranting raving swearing over his hedge and telling us basically to piss off and that we were not allowed out there at night time with a laser pen...he could not see who were and was expecting to see a few kids but to his surprise
  9. now thats a nice bird... I raised these two a couple of years back ...they are such a clever bird...

  14. ok I take it that was a joke.... BTW you can in theory shoot anything with anything given a close enough range (big game / hogs excepted). However, its also a matter of responsibility. Shooting foxes with anything smaller than 3's not only risks injuring the animal and causing suffering but also potentially landing you in jail or court as a result. Remember there might not be a minimum specified size but its still an offence to cause unnecessary suffering and if you shoot and wound an animal, even if you subsequently kill it, and for some reason the police or RSPCA become involve
  15. if your near abingdon i got something you can try out give me a shout...
  16. your need a rod jag patches chamber brush and a cleaner...my preference is Napier gun cleaner.. as it leaves a nice oil coating..and a bore snake is not amiss to be added on... http://www.napieruk.com/acatalog/Product-and-Instrution-Videos.html heres a quick link to videos hope it helps
  17. A new rabbit permission with the HMR....took 150 rounds shot 150 clean head shots in 4 hours.. it was amazing loverly warm still summers afternoon... short grass paddocks positioned on top of hay bales shooting towards a bank with holes everywhere..even on the clear up they were showing themselves..unfortunately no game dealers local and had to bury them...hardly any left now but i got a good reputation from it and a few more permissions especially from horsey folk..
  18. Absolutely fantastic....had one for a year now the range is amazing and works in low temperatures...on the tightest beam from the downs it was seen seven miles away ....500yrds foxing identifying no problem with this...300yds foxing easy,....
