I have bought a second hand 22-250 as my first rifle , it shoots great but the outside of the barrel has little light rust spots . Is there anything I can do for this?
Was using night vision that obviously not zeroed correctly imagine somebody on theses forums actually gave a serious answer. I get the impression theres alot of people on here dont have the experience or knowledge they think they have so they just say something daft
Anybody ever heard of this , might sound daft was in a big open field an let a shot off at a fox from the 22-250 then turned around walked back to the car amd about 15 ft away was a dead hare lying that wasnt there five minutes ago and it was still warm. There were no marks on it as though a fox had it
My gun gets fully dried off with a sponge and kitchen roll after ever outing then take the bolt out and silencer off . And leave them all in a utility room whee it's quite warm for a few hours before putting away. Should this be enough then just a thorough clean every now and Gain
Whats your cleaning regime iv just really started shooting fac rifles. Iv got a plastic coated rod, nickel brush and jag and swabs and parker hale powder solvent. How should I go aboit cleaning. Any links?
was in the garage lastnight and noticed the fishing gear lying in the corne gathering dust. Got a few days off work next week so think i will get myself out
Anybody shooting one , just recently got one in 22-255 and when loading into the magazine type part bullets are going in but the bolt wont shut , as if it's catching in the bullets in the magazine part
I doubt they do call it being owned , everybody on here bangs on about hw and rapid 7 they were the two most boring guns I owned I would go as far too say the rapid 7 is the biggest waste of money I have ever spent. I know at least 4 people shooting careers just now and have just gotten rid of mine myself and after years of messing around wasting money I finally got a career and it was the best air rifle I have shot.
