It's not that mate, I'd still keep and use my Film camera's especialy for black and white shots, but I'd like to get the results there and then you know what I meen mate. Then again, I wouldnt mind updating my film SLR's aswell. Digital SLR's are realy catching right up now as far as quality goes (colour) IMO, and I personaly think they are well worth the investment if you've got the money for one. The ability to know whether or not you've taken a good pic straight away, the freedom to get rid of crap pictures at the press of a button and the fact you dont have to buy and develop f

Pipey Magregor replied to Pipey Magregor's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
Anyone got any more pics of Staff/Patt crosses? I've seen a couple but I am interested in seeing some more. How is it best to cross them would you say if there is any difference at all? Bitch Staff or Bitch Patterdale ? -

Ahh sound, I never realised this forum existed! Cupid Stunt, Nikon D50 sound man , some nice shots, especialy the ones where its having abit of snap, then going to kip lol, the colours have come out real nice. I wish I had the spare cash floating about to get a new Digital SLR, I'm still dashing about the gaff with these old Nikon and Canon film cameras , they do the trick for me though at the moment. I've got some of my friends Dog photos that I have taken here - My mates CockerSpaniel... Another mates 10 month old Presa Canario... Another pals APBT (which has b

If you've got the space and the patience then why not ey , Have a look at the parents if you can, make sure he looks fit and is in good health. I'm no expert like but this place is full of very knowledgeable people who'll point you in the right direction as far as what to look for, diet, health and any other questions you may have on working terriers. I feel I've learnt plenty from my short stay here so far, best of luck to you with what ever decision you make.

I'm not going to bang on about what I think of this war, but I have got the UPMOST respect for our armed forces (lads like your husband who are doing their bit), and I wish your husband a safe and healthy return from Iraq. All the best.

Just had a little look for some software but cant find anything by them for ya mate. What sort of files is it that you want to open up ? If its Video files or picture files just open them up with Windows player for your videos or a paint program for your pictures, should work as long as you have got the drivers installed for it I think.

I've noticed abit of dandruff in my pups coat, any ideas what I can use to help this go anyone? It's not a major concern and it isnt a bad case of it, just thought I'd tackle it before / if it does get worse.

Pipey Magregor replied to Hob&Jill's topic in Working Dog Health & Training Talk
HAHAHAHA Ah man that dog sounds a right character, best of luck to you and him for the future. My dog eats well, loves raw chicken, loves raw Rabbit and his fruit & veg. Hob and Jill, how about trying some fish? I'm yet to meet a dog that doesnt love tuna. Does the dog drink plenty of water? I surpose it would if it goes on a 5 mile trot often enough. -
8 or 9 months! blimey I thought she was alot younger than that on there. Then again I havent seen many lakey x pats before, and I dont think I've seen one this young. Good luck with her though, may she bring you many happy years of graft!
-
Yeah she's a nice looking biatch! How old was she on those pics?

The Yorkshire bloke I got my Pat from said to get him jabbed at 11 weeks old. He's had his first neelde friday just gone, he's got his next one in two weeks then three weeks after that the vet recommended another booster for Parvo because he said theres been quite a few cases of it lately.

My mates bitch doesnt realy like other dogs from what I've seen, she can be abit hostile towards them. People and other dogs she knows she is pretty well behaved with. She's got a real serial killer look to her she has, she has this way where she doesnt look at you but looks straight through you, real cold stare like.

Dog castration question
Pipey Magregor replied to Pipey Magregor's topic in Working Dog Health & Training Talk
If you cant train a dog in its natural form then you shouldnt be owning one Yeah this dog had been done before my mate had got him, but even castrated he's ten to the dozen, a pretty full on terrier, with no backing down in him. -
Yeah put her in her place. Hopefully she'll learn from abit more of this treatment so she knows.

My mate has got a Cocker Spaniel and he barks REALY LOUD and runs and jumps all over the place when he's excited. He is real hyper. If me and my mate go for a pint, and then go back to his gaff for a curry, the dog will come to him for fuss but will sit there and growl at him in a real low growl, showing his complete disapproval of my pal stinking of ale lol. Proper voices his oppinion he does lol.
