  1. Hi all, I know this is in the wrong place but its to avoid the endless "I can come with a shotgun" replies, if anybody localish wants to come pigeon shooting with air rifles I got a lot of pigeons about
  2. Parrafin is as good as anything for de greasing, and its fairly tame compared to brake cleaner
  3. 100 go on bipods because they are so blimmin heavy lol

Not as bad as this morning! Bugger me, still working on the mrs that getting a hw100 is super serious and needed to be done today, she's not too enthusiastic tho,
  6. bugg

    Zero!

So the plan was to get out on the roost for some pigeon then a few miles of rabbit shooting, however, currently fettling the cb1000 a bit and managed to take the end of my finger of between the chain n sproket......feel like a tit ...yes, on the plus side tho, may have to buy a hw100 so I can load with my good hand, every cloud n all that

  9. Good stuff, for the record.....it's a flock of sheep ;-)
  10. S410 for me, not been fortunate enough to be in the position to own a hw100 but love my .177 s410 enough for it not to bother me, very accurate decent shot count but not reg'd wich to be fair is a slight disadvantage but I know the rifle so again not really too bothetred about that either, if I was going to buy a new one I'd go for the hw100
  11. So is that normal practice not to check zero before shooting at something? Well done to wee man all the same
  12. That's the way it should be done
  13. Slightly off topic, a while ago I had a moan about how many pellets were bent misshapen etc in 2 tons of AA field but the last 1000 I haven't had to chuck a single one away, very good going aa
  14. Good pic, the accupel certainly looks like it would be unbalanced, never tried the superdomes tho
  15. Hi all, recently joined a hft range wich is great, now, I noticed that compared to some of the rifles there mine was seriously underpowered, so after preparing myself for a strip down and service wich to be honest I was dreading having not done it before, I went to the range again today anyway and luckily there were 3 handy chaps from mevagissy up for the day,I said to one I was having an issue with the rifle and in 10 seconds he had it sorted, its a pre anti tamper so a simple solution of winding open the transfer port a little when I put it over the chrono before tinkering it was o my shooti
  16. If I took the very one up on their offer of free pest control I'd never have to go shooting! The wife would love me!
  17. Would a bag that jack pike do not be any good? Would be fairly well cushioned wouldn't it?
  18. And I rekon we grow grass faster down this way,:-p

  20. Looking to swap nights on rabbits for nights on rats please, air guns only, north Cornwall/Devon border will travel within reason, I have some good rabbit ground to offer Atb
  21. I'd be interested in the blowpipe shooting hampster....how much?? And the metal detecting guy can come dig my garden over as long as he puts my veg in nice tidy rows when he's done :-)
  22. S410 does it for me, I have the classic but I think if I were buying another I'd get the carbide it does get a bit heavy after a couple hours walking around with it, its a .177 wich in my opinion is better thn a .22 for the hunting I do, easier to feed pellets through branches etc, there will be opinions that .22 is better but there are pro's and cons for both and in the right hands either is a good as eachother
  23. I'm down bude mate, we can arrange a weekend day n I'll pop up and vise versa plenty of rabbits down here again now,
