    Can you hear the air escaping? Mine leaked from the fill probe inlet,but was an a&m so they sorted it for me,

    The air arms mod that slips straight on is good and cheaper than most,(the q-tec is suppsosed to be even better)I agree on going for a bottle,lots of fills before a trip to the shop,as for general hunting advice that will be many pages and lots of reading to take in,I would advise getting tips on each quarry/outing as you go to keep it simple ish! Presumably you can stalk/hide and use a weapon so the specific and technical stuff ask as and when there are some very knowledgeable lads here and are more than helpful,welcome and happy hunting!     They can be tricky buggers at times,used to control them round a lake and if you crept round,however you tried,lights on/off,fast/slow whatever,they would shift into the undergrowth just out of a good shot you know? But drive round like normal and they'd let you drive right by them sometimes,would of had more joy running the sodding things over! But its part of the fun though,trying to out think a rabbit and finding a tactic which gives us a few shots...

    Around 25 for me,kept on 6x mag,it will come down to the range you shoot at and mag you are happy with?

    We put out about eight in a small off shape circle,one on a post etc,mostly facing into the wind,make a nice hide,cover up and keep still,usually gets us small numbers for a morning,a broken egg is apparently good for drawing their attention as is a half gutted rabbit,an owl is also supposed to be good but I believe they just dive bomb them so bit shotgun that one,it tends to depend on what they are feeding on and what have you but the basics should get you going,my experience is limited but is working so far and I learn a little each time,someone who does it more often might have more specifi

    I don't know in er,technical detail or anything,but I leave mine cocked for long periods of time whilst out lamping or whatever and never noticed any type of negative effect or any difference in the guns operation,or in any pcp Ive owned come to think of it,I wouldn't worry its what they are built for...

    Good mornings shooting then,tx200 is a good gun my mate had one for years and was a pleasure to use,was a rival for my hw97k! Never used a 95 though,only hear good things about them,this is another positive review...

    Good read Mac,another decent session and a good result as well,you sound like you are enjoying those springers and your shooting too,if your happy with them twangy and such should become a regular hunting tool once tuned a tad!
