    Looked at one of these once in a shop and although I didn't really like the look of it the guy basically said they are fantastic and should be considered along with the usual suspects,and I agree that when you see one you think "poaching"!!

    Went out tonight for a quick session on a farm we go on and it was cold and I went a little under dressed so wasn't the most comfortable, the moon was bright so made moving around and stalking closer difficult,the ground is covered in leaves and frosty so movement was loud and all in all was,like reading this post,a waste of time! We did see about half a dozen or so in the hour we were out but couldn't get a decent opportunity so as I say get me my chequebook and pen cus I blankety blanked!!

    And I agree with winter being here,was out tonight WITH AN AIR RIFLE and it was getting cold,the water troughs were frozen over and the grass frosty under foot...
