Ha thought you were going to tell us it is actually quite a good gun! Looking at those pellets myself,keep hearing how good they are,too many sodding pellet choices that are supposed to be good and even when you find one that you are happy with and works well in your gun you keep looking! Suppose that's some of the fun though... You got to wait for your scope to be delivered again now?

I hope that for every story like this one,senseless acts that make us ashamed to be of the same species,there are ten good ones we just don't hear of because I believe the press etc use the negative ones to sell their shitty papers as bad news travel further and faster...

that a good idea, the companys that make walking and camping gear could do the same An idea such as this needs putting forward to the company/s in question,I'd suggest a petition of some sort in support of it to be put forward and see what their reaction is,not to put a dampner on it but they'd have to consider those who'd feel they are being forced to donate as well,good idea though and a worthwhile charity for sure...

Saw a bit of one episode where they were throwing up clays and then shooting them,start on one and work up to five,quite good and got me interested really,might just keep an eye out...

My mates parents were flooded years ago,similar in it being a foot deep and ruined everything downstairs,woodwork,wallpaper,furniture,electrical and kitchen units well you can imagine,one of the worse things I've personally seen in a home,turned out to be roadworks from the road behind burst a pipe or something and this house was downhill of it,the company responsible covered everything eventually but the stress it caused was not nice to witness,i feel for anyone affected because I've seen the aftermath,went past a house yesterday and saw an old boy putting sand bags over his drive and made me

Go to "more reply options" under the box for inserting text,then "attach files",select your picture and "add to post",I'm on my tablet so I do it all from here but if I can get the hang of it it can't be too difficult! And any pics from when I'm out and about I Bluetooth to my tablet so all I need ie,photos I've taken or downloaded images go into my documents which opens up when I'm inserting a pic to a post,have a bash and see how you get on someone else will probably come along and make it simple for you and a couple will probably make it harder!!

out of interest what distance are you taking these rats at and is the picture clear,like to hear what its like at rabbit ranges as well,and which rifle are you using it on,guessing pcp but wondering what it'd be like on top of a springer...

Well seeing as I was swamped with questions and inundated with comments I thought I better get the results up quick time! It's a nice pint really,typically ale,like beacon or mild even,took pictures for the colour etc but are difficult to get where they show the actual drink off but all in all worth a look for anyone who gets a chance,well I'm one pint in and about 19 to go!?

never seen them either,very simple just add yeast that is supplied and 18 pints of warm water then leave for 48hrs,has an airlock built into the lid which bubbled away for about a day and a half,be ready soon so I'll update when its in a glass in my hand!

That night out is much better than nothing,seems a few of us can't even get out I'd be happy to go out and blank! Quite a bit going on by the sound of it,a night to remember and laugh about before long...

Done myself a stew with some pigeon I shot and pheasant that was given to me by someone I know who'd been beating,never tried the two together and fancied a stew so thought I'd knock one up,nothing special really just carrot,potato,onion and mushroom with some rosemary and sage,came out nice but next time think it needs more pigeon as seemed a bit lacking compared to the other ingredients,anyway thought I'd share and maybe pick up a tip or two on this particular dish,here it is ( or rather what's left!)... I made the dumplings as well!

Got one of these for crimbo and got it ready should be having a sip sometime this evening/tomorrow,anyone used one and if so what did it taste like and did you think it was any good? Just after some comparison to an ale I might know really...

Mine will be for hunting mostly and I'm a .22 man so just need some cash together then a last good think about the rifle and that's that!
