    That's how we have ours,fill the base of a 7 inch (ish) pan with mix and they are small enough and quite thin,makes your mix go further too!

    Agree with rez,mint,looks a very good place with lots of options,used to go with a bloke on a 900 or so acre place with his hawk and occasionally air rifles,fantastic place and looks very similar land to that,had lots of game and had some good hunting there,get us some more pics and that was decent shooting in strong wind

    Deker your an fac stalking rule knowing kind of guy,what is the penalty for taking game out of season or on a Sunday? I know most things are taken on the individual circumstances etc but save me some googling cus quite honestly I can't be bothered!

    Still,looks a varied enough perm with some wooded/sheltered parts to sit it out and chance a shot kind of out the wind,I personally like those perms around manor houses etc,feel better to be round somehow,less detached than a farm,out in the fields,if you see what I mean?

    Maybe those cards caused the misses somehow But I'd rather be out missing,as frustrating as it is,than in wishing I was out!

    Ha,yeah my groups are honest rez,I'm not a very good liar,even on the net! Deker not far mate 20 yards or less,my garden is an L shape so is large ish in square feet but not long,I like to get out and get 30/40 yard groupings but struggle to find the time at the minute...

    Got out Saturday for the last shoot of our season,most regulars couldn't make it so became more of a walked shoot with two guns and two beaters,flushed birds left right and centre but sods law always away from the guns! Anyway we had a few hours out and ended on four,I missed the only woodcock I've ever shot at but ah well,they'll be another (??) For a last minute no one can make it kind of day it wasn't all bad...

    The squirrels undressed for the freezer,bloody hard to skin as well,I tried the cut at the base of tail technique, wasn't as quick as the vids on the tube I can tell you! Have these when I've got through some of the meat I've got piling up...
