  2. they just called and are gonna put put a plate in there to hold it together and they said it will be fine once heald. i dont think hes got a vision problem cause he will spot in the daylight or down the lamp miles away and picks things up out the seat i think hes just young and eager and doesnt feel the injurys so doesnt care but hes costing me a bit the vet said around £500-600ish, so maybe a dog that pulls up at a hedge or ditch aint such a bad thing!
  3. at the moment im just waiting to hear what they say
  4. in the last the last 7 months my 1/4bull jack has had more injuries than me in my life time and hes not even 18months yet!, hit a car(knocked out),hit many barbwire fences(gashes),hit a ditch(punchured lung),and last nigh hit something again(broken jaw), can a dog be too hard? he doesnt back off at anything when hes running he will run through anything and last night came back too me with a broken jaw, droped him off at the vet this morning . even with it hanging down he still wanted to be slipped. its broke staight through on the left side between the k9 and the hinge, the vet said ja

  10. at ten months its impossible to know what it will be like, im all for trying new crosses as you all know but id keep this boys progress close to your chest mate youll get to much abuse untill hes doing the business all day and all night then you can put up the to all who doubted you, but untill then youll get a lot of stick , but good luck mate
  11. what the feck does running a dog have to do with your driving ability? unless he was driving land dangerously with no permission at 90mph while being twice the legal drink limit , but i doubt it!!!!! hate the way this country is going!!!!
  12. boar will run away from dogs they dont all pile in if one gets caught its all for there own in the pig world not the royal rumble!, only a mother will fight for her piglets, get your self some proper dogs a good blade then when your cold and wet in your makeshift shelter at lest youll have a belly full of good grub! all the best ray mears Penis!
  13. i let my pups run after the bigger dogs on the lamp when they are about 5, 6 month so they get to see how things are done then it all depends on the individual pup to when you run him on some squatters single handed.
  14. take it to the vet if they say cut it off save ya dosh do it your self, a razor sharp scalpel or razor blade will do it keep it clean, we all know how quick dogs heal from flesh wounds!
  15. sounds like i was very lucky! if he went i would of been gutted i will be using him to run my pups on with, thank god he looks ok! thanks everyone for the post ,hopefully now a few more people will know the signs if it happens to them even after 1/2hr and a few runs after the impact get to the vet asap.
  16. £185, for the late night appointment was £100 then 85 went on the x-rays and the other bits n bobs i thought that wernt to bad remembering it was 2 in the morn, but would of paid a grand if it needed to done(as long as he would of made a full recovery) just lucky my vet is 24hr and only 60 seconds from my house!
  17. England has been known for their running dogs for thousands of years we were trading them with the romans for goods but the last fifty years ours live have become to easy and the use of running dogs have declined dramaticaly, so now i think there wont be much in it around the world , but the few hard worked lurchers from long proven lines in the uk i would say would come out on top due to our large range of quarry here in the uk(rabbits and rats) .
  18. no mate the x-rays showed no brocken ribs i think it must of been like a crisp packet affect was full of air then had the impact and pushed it out to quick and poped, hes doing well now showining very little sighns of an injury so must of been very small. hope your mates dogs is ok it was a bit of a shock specially half an hour l and a big ears later your mates dogs sounds worse than jack so fingures crossed.
  19. take it its not that common as out of 70 looks no ones herd of this before.
  20. went out last night for a walk with a friend last night and had a good start we took my bullx jack, big white diego, and my friends big white Ami, after getting to the furthest point of the walk with a few misses and a great catch , i lamped two sets of eyes about 400yards away at the start of a new field, so we walked down as close as we could and sliped jack he saw and shot off like a rocket , this is where the bad bit happened there is a ditch deviding the two fields and all i heard was a smack, yelp and saw him get up and start running again , came back and all was good no injuries, t
