  5. when the inlet valve sticks open this usualy caused by filling the gun up to fast. you need to take the inlet valve off the cylinder then take out the ptfe seal and check it isnt damaged,if every think seems to be in order reasemble the valve making sure every thing is clean and oil and grease free, once every thing back together make sure the rifles hammer is cocked(with no pellet up the spout !!!) start to fill the rifle nice and slow . asme9

  14. a vet would have to do blood test to confirm if it is a true wild polecat not just feel its pecs and biceps,i had a ferret cross pole cat about 5 years ago..the young hob turned out to be the best ferret/polecat iv had...i obviously cant say this for the rest of the litter!!!because i later picked up a jill from the same litter and it was a nasty little f**ker, the breeding came about because a guy picked up a road kill polecat(jill) in wales,he put it in the back of his car ,thought he would take it to a taxidermist, any way when he got home the road kill wasnt dead!!!!! to cut a long story s
  15. Used red, blue, yellow and green ,all worked the same realy exept the green fillter made my eyes go funny. ie when i took the filter off, the white beam seemed a pink colour!! i dont think there is any difference in the range of fillters simply becaues white is made up from the three primary colours red, blue, amber. how many guys dont bother with a fillter??? kind regards asme9
  16. hope they make a speedy recovery mate what ever it was the ferrets must have backed it up,iv bolted cats, stoats and foxes, with the ferrets they dont tend to stay around ,the smell of the ferts seems to worry them i dont know,i came to the conclusion that its a case of the hunter is being hunted!!!! what does the bite look like ie ,space between teeth, puncture size?? any chance of a picture? kind regards asme9
