  12. how would a landowner differentiate the stress(worry)levels of sheep,ie between a dog running through and around the sheep and a collie hearding the sheep??
  13. THINK YOU WILL FIND THEY HAVE TO RING THE POLICE AND PROVIDE EVIDENCE OF THE DOG WORRYING FIRST BEFORE PULLING THE TRIGER,IF THEY SHOOT FIRST THEN ASK QUESTIONS LATER THEN THERE GOING TO HAVE SOME ANSWERING TO DO TO THE OLD BILL... IF THE DOG IS WORRYING SHEEP THEN SHAME ON THE OWNER...ALLWAYS A CASE OF ACTIONS AND CONSEQUENCES AMSE9

  15. excelent cross mate i had a bitch bred the exact same about 14years ago,was very loyal and very game for her size. asme9

  17. id say the same as the dam.most of the dogs iv reared do not grow much in hight after 8-9months. asme 9
  18. hi lass i had a beddy/greyhound x beardie/greyhound dog about 24" tall, blue beardy coloured until about 3 months ago he had to be put to sleep at the age of 16. he was a good honest little grafter that could turn his paws to anything,he was far from being a world beater but definatly as good as the next dog,i cant speak for all dogs bred this way but if i had to pick a dog for general lamping, bushing ferreting i definatly wouldnt hesitate in this cross. as for temperment he was sound, appart form the stubborn ignorant ways as a up and coming young dog. i do have a couple of old pictures
  19. definatly some real advice from you guys. my own heeler bitch had a wierd spell, seemed to be taking to many steps back,it can be disheartfull when things like this happends, the key is dont be afraid to ask and take one step at a time, its worth it in the end. iv seen guys give dogs away that have terrable faults, and in the end they kick them selfs when the new owner put a little time in and gets the dog back on track. asme
  20. some time the search can be frustrating,if everything was pinned the fourum would just be a the hunting text book and not a fourum. i always tend to feed the stinkers a little something before going out, even then they somtimes kill and lie up(nearly allways lol) asme ix
  21. the picking and chosing of runs is some times seen with colie crosses, usualy in the older more experienced dogs(they know there limits and capabilitys). i dont know what sort of slips the dogs getting but make sure the bunnies have to run back towards you, dont be giving the dog runs were all the rabit has to do is is hop 10 yard and hit safety,do as bryson says, back to basics im afraid. asmeix
  22. my bitch the same,i been stripping her for the last 4 days and she stil looks same,i take her out when its dark saves me wanting to kill people who say the dogs in bad condition. top looking bitch
