  1. Hi lads, I am in the same scenario as we speak! Just got a springer pup 7wks and would love to work him in future, so I was wondering if you guys had any do's and donts in the early stages as I have full intentions of keeping him in house but have full cooperation for the missus to find a balance of work and pet? Any info will be gratefully welcomed, cheers

  3. Welcome mate, I just joined up yesterday! My 1 st love is working the dogs but my mate has shotguns and a few ponds on his permission, had a go at them on Sunday there, was a load of teal on them but I couldn't hit a barn door with a bat! I bagged a few mallard last season and have defo got the bug! Got my application but holding back to the new year! Atb

  5. This is true! but seen some real crackers on here while lookin them up, I have a pup said to have aluant x bull back to bull/grey not like the stamp of some on here, so we shall see over the winter if she makes the grade! Cheers fellas

  12. Some good feedback there! I agree with both comments it's all in the breeding and I don't agree on runthroughs at emptys. Patience is a virtue they say!

  14. Hi lads. I am a very keen outdoorsman who enjoys all aspects of hunting and a bit of fishing inbetween, my 1st love is my dogs both running & earth, I also do some beating on a local estate and I'm apply for my shotgun license after the festive period.
