  1. Hi lads, been searching for a hw100kt after selling my R10, I've been offered a hw100t, is there much difference in weight to the hw100kt, I've shouldered the kt in shop and does feel nice, but I've read that the standard length is a bit on the heavy side? Should I get the hw100T or sit on my hands and wait for a KT to come along? Thanks
  2. ...... Was also meant to say, give "washed out" boilies ago, normally nails the more crafty and wary fish, and like Jonah said try singles. ATB
  3. Try using yellow hi-viz pop up's fished on a zig-rig mate, also try and put them to any features like weed, etc, and don't be afraid to cast them to showing fish! don't use anything to oiliey like pellets as they won't break down properly in the cold water, maggots can be devastating in winter, especially if there is a lot of "natural" food in the lake, don't over do it on freebies if using boilies. Little bags of crushed boilies can help to get a run also, best of luck and tight lines dude!
  4. That's interesting mate as I just couldn't get on with my R10, maybe because it was a mk1.....I'm not dead cert on buying a hw100, so interested in looking at other rifles, was only thinking the hw route as I viewed one in shop last week and it did feel lovely to shoulder and everybody seems to rave about them.

  13. Hi guys, after selling my trusty s410 I decided to buy a R10. I promptly came to the decision that I just didn't like it, and just couldn't get on with it!! So I thankfully managed to sale it on yesterday! I'm wondering which rifle to get next? I'm thinking about getting a hw100,? All my rifles that I've ever had have all been in .22 so I was also thinking about trying a .177 .for those that use a hw100 .177 how do you rate it?? I'd be using it for most air gun quarries. Also which model would you suggest? Don't want anything to heavy! Are they pretty user friendly as I miss the ease of use
