Nice mate, love yew catties, the gorze near me is quite small, so maybe struggle to get a decent fork from it

Was asked by a member to make him a natural catty with his daughters name on it, I think it's a really nice touch, the catty is ash with walnut tips and cap, shoots lovely!

lol..... It's walnut with a 5mm ally core mate, got some cherry, ash walnut and iroko from a mate yesterday, so will be having a play around with it :-)

hi winmag, I just use the two part epoxy resin for sticking micarta tips, if drilling holes for tubes then I use a 6mm drill bit, as for cutting the slits I use a bandsaw, but as yours is down at the mo, then I'm sure a hacksaw would work just fine, hope this helps

Made this new very pocketable catty shape today, its a re-design of a catty that the gafer sent me in a catty trade, I've got to say that this is the comfiest and best side shooter I've made, it just melts into the hand and shoots fantastically, so cheers to the gafer for letting me change the original shape a bit, I've been trying to find the perfect shape and size catty for a while now, and I think this is definately it!

I recently suggested a 'fishing equipment' classified section, and it was accepted. All the other sections seem to have their own dedicated classified listings, so why not us............? Hi lads, sorry was a bit vague, my hw is in .177 shooting JSB exacts, as for where my hide was, well i was actually shooting from inside a polytunnel 35 yards from a paddock where the crows love to get in amongst some chicken and goat pens, I did want to use a rabbit with the guts out, but as I pulled into the farm, I shot the woodie (head shot) at about 30yards from my van, so I thought I'd give it a go and it worked. And yes there are rooks there as well, all the birds were head shot, with the JSB's doing the job perfectly, I haven't had my HW that long, but I've got to say it's the best r
