    Made this L7 milbro, it's ally cored with a walnut and spalted beech front and a walnut back, need to give it a few coats of tru-oil. Got a few more catties in the making.

    Got home from work today to a large boxed parcel, inside was a gift from a member off here so thanks mate, I've got to make him a catty for them, looking forward to having a mess around with them and seeing what I can come up with, never worked with antler before

    The pouch on it needs a good bit of use to soften it up as well mate, they are a bit stiff when new, but once worn In there fine

    If your elastic keeps breaking it could be that the ammo you are using is too light for it mate, what elastic are you using? And what ammo are you using?

    I would definately recommend a knife from Riohog, I've had two skinning blades from him, and they are fantastic, they take a really good edge. You won't be disappointed

    going to stick my neck out here but i dont think the ammo actualy passes between the forks,it goes over the top as with all catys,lets see what others have to say but im thinking im bang on the moneythe ammo does go over the top (OTT) on pickle forks and OTT catties but then passes through the forks (TTF) on TTF catties

    just decorative really mate, they could be drilled out and slots cut,then it could be used with flats and quick change loops

    you can mate, but all tools hate it!!!! Lungs hate the dust as well, so use a mask!!
