still getting used to it really mate, it's like an inbetween of single and double TBG

Finished work early today, so sat in the garden in the sun, started shaping an unknown natty that I cut a while back with my knife while littlun was playing, got a feeling it's oak, but the bark didn't look like oak, and it looks different from other oak natties I've made,so not to sure..... Added some zebrano tips and cap which I think compliment it well, banded it with some latex the gafer sent me and it shoots likes a dream

Made this TTF gafer from some off cuts of different hardwood I had, it's ally cored, with walnut, Purple Heart, burr elm, tulip and wych elm,

I still can't really hit anything if the shot I'm taking is too elevated tho!!! Anything at the top of the tree is safe :-(, does my head in! Shot just seems to go AWOL!!

People always seem to think that they need double theraband because it's going to have so much more power, I've recently started using singles and like you have said, there easier to use/become more accurate with, I use 20mm - 15mm singles with 10mm steel and they have way enough power to drop pigeons,squirrels etc. I'd definately not recommend doubles to new catty shooters as if your not used to them, your arm starts shaking like a shitting dog and you just don't get consistent with them, I find singles last a lot longer than doubles as well.

I've got loads of antler to make some PFS with mate, so will make a few up....... As long as my missus doesn't drop in the mean time, due any day now :-/

Made this catty from some antler that a member from here sent me, he wanted me to make him a catty with the name of his farm on it, not the most artistic of people, so hope he likes it.....
