  1. lol if you twist your pouch 90 degrees it will fly over the top, also flick the catty forward as you release the pouch
  2. How do you hold your catty Gavin? Forks up or forks to the side? If forks to the side, then I used the tip of the fork as an aiming marker, and using my ear as an anchor point to pull to, might be worth hanging a piece of paper up with a 25mm black circle drawn on it, take a few shots at it, holding the catty that feels comfortable to you, then you will be able to see how far away from the circle you are, then adjust from there. If hitting high of the mark then raise your anchor point, if hitting low then lower your anchor point, then if your hitting right of the circle then move aiming mark
  3. Ha it does get addictive making them, I finished this one in boiled linseed oil, then have it a few coats of polyurethane.

  6. Made this sps recently, it's got a s/steel core with black spacers and zebrano faces, love the sps, it's the catty I always use. If your looking for a nice accurate catty that slips into your pocket easily, then the sps is definately what you want. I've made another but with elm faces if anybody is interested in it, it's made for shooting flat bands, pm me if interested , cheers Zebrano one Burr elm band shooter

  11. I've had this happen mate, normally when using bands as they "slap" after releasing the pouch, then other times I've managed to take a couple of shots at a woodie and they've sat still.

  16. Seen a bloke at the chatworth shoot out the other year using a black widow and he was in the finals so he done well with it did he carry it in a suitcase as too big for his pocket? I only use my catty for hunting

  22. I'm sure your just keeping the same two pigeons in the freezer and taking them with you on mooch...... There gunna start to rot soon :-/..... You'd be better off with flocked decoys ;-)
