    I've had good success with marbles lately mate , but use hexnuts and 12mm bbs/lead if you can get them

    P.s try and find forks that are pretty much even, saves a lot of work, also try and find forks that have a diameter of at least 25mm (1")

    Any fruit or nut tree is a good starting point mate, ash,oak, elm and hawthorn all make nice forks........ Or go to your local graveyard and cut some nice Yew forks,

    Thing with woodies is mate, there breast bone is solid!! If using 9.5's ideally go for headshot. If body shooting them then try 12mm steel, it packs way more of a punch and normally takes them down no problem. Another good ammo is M10 hexnuts. Can be bought pretty cheaply and are pretty devastating up to about 12 meters, they tend to swerve any distance after that. But keep at it mate, you'll be filling the freezer in no time ;-)

    Bought this G10 SPS catty from Dan Ford, really lucky to get it as it's the last one he is making as no longer making and selling catties, the finish on it is impeccable, absolutely love it!

    Thought so, if you rasp the knots down on the other one they look really good once oiled mate, have a look at BPR's pinned thread at top of page to help with banding.

    I normally make them between 30mm-50mm. Cut them longer and see how you get on, you can always shorten them if needed

    It's just the strip of theraband has come undone, just re-attach it with a rubber band etc, like what's been said mate, check out BPR's pinned tutorial, and just reattach using the wrap and tuck method. You'll prob need a new set of bands soon, as TBG don't last that long.

    Can't see the pics mate? If your shots are going to the right, it might be because you are canting the forks forwards, make sure they are verticle, have a look in a mirror holding your catty as you would if taking a shot, or film yourself on your phone camera etc. that way you can check to see if everything is how it should be?

    if you want to cut your own, then any nut or fruit tree would be a good bet, along with Ash,oak hazel etc. stay clear of anything with a pithy core.

    I've got a few natural forks that I cut a while ago if there any good to you mate? Make some nice catties, if you pay postage (about £3) I'll chuck some theraband gold elastic in and a pouch to get you going? Let me know cheers

    I'm right eye dominant too mate, but I use my left eye when shooting my catty, I also used to hold catty at a 45 degree angle but found that it was really inaccurate and inconsistent, I physically made my self hold my catty vertically in the sideways/gangster style. After a while of consciously forcing myself to shoot this way, it didn't take long to just automatically shoot this way. I'd like to think I'm not a bad shot now, and can shoot pretty much what I'm aiming at. If your having to aim considerably lower than your target then move your anchor point down, this will make your shot go hi
