  6. Looks like an old school milbro, either way I think it looks mint!
  7. Try and get some 18mm multiplex (birch ply)mate, easy to work with and very strong, will withstand fork hits easy
  8. lol, yeah they definately earn back the money they cost mate, forgot the last time I used a normal circular saw :-)
  9. A few more pics........ Seems to work ok........ After a coat of timber care .......
  10. yeah was going to give the whole thing a few coats of preservative/stain mate, the floor is marine ply but will still coat it up, was thinking about using trocol on the floor as well, but not to sure yet.
  11. Thanks guys, the cladding is t&g larch, it will be having an 18mm ply roof with a trocol finish, which is a rubber membrane that's glued to the ply, I'll be putting in mesh panels and making the door from t&g cladding in the morning, so hopefully will have it finished by the afternoon. I'm also getting some corrugated tubing that I'm going to attach to the walls for them to run through as well.
  12. Lol..... Cheers Ross!! Neighbours think I'm knocking a sauna up ;-)
  13. Managed to get home from work at around 3 this afternoon with a van full of free timber and materials from work, decided to make a start on my ferret court, spent around 3 hours on it today, hoping to get it finished tomorow, it's 4ft by 10ft. a few progress pics.
  14. same here mate, I did headshot one the other day, and it dropped like a stone. Dead before it hit the ground ;-)
  15. Going to build something along these lines, got a load of timber, ply and larch cladding from work, so hopefully only have to buy the mesh.
  16. Cut them over length mate, as they will split a bit, to help with splitting then dip the ends into wax. Remove the bark and hang them......... Or if your in a hurry to make one, then remove the bark, put in microwave for 15 seconds..... Allow to dry.... Then another 15 seconds.... Allow to dry and so on until it's dry through, don't put in for longer than 15 seconds at a time tho, or microwave goes bang ;-)....... Good luck!
  17. probably the best catty hunter I've seen on the net, he hardly ever needs a second shot! Anybody got any idea who he is?
  18. not into the whole competition thing mate, just use my catty for hunting, very rarely do any target practise now. ........... And welcome to THL ;-)
