    I've had a sps core lying around in the garage for a while now, so with the missus cousin round tonight I thought I'd nip out and spend a couple of hours making a catty as it's been a long time since I made one...... It's s/steel cored with ally pins, ally lanyard hole and elm faces.shoots like a dream with looped 1745's....... Since I already own a dragonfly sps, I thought I'd see if anybody is interested in buying this one from me.... It's not an original "performance catapults" sps..... But I'd sell it at a fraction of there $250 + postage price ;-).....

    If plinking at targets, then use 9.5mm steel mate, cheap to buy from ebay and a good all round plinking ammo..... If the lad gets a bit fire friendly, then buy him a bag of mint imperials...... Great kid ammo ;-)

    ....... Lol!! I might make a few more up, got loads of ally and some lovely hardwood for scales, got an sps core I could use as a template, so think I'll make a few of them, seeing it's my favourite catty to shoot :-)

    Your prob better off asking on the Facebook forums mate, as the original maker is American, and he charges the earth for them! Also he's a greedy robbing b*****d and wouldn't give him a penny..... Unfortunately, probably the best English maker of the sps "copy" is no longer making them :-(
