South Eastern pest control

when it comes to accuracy as far as spring guns go this rifle is second to none. However the cocking mechanism on my gun is temporamental , the anti bear trap mechanism works fine but the safety rarely engages and when it does and I take it off safe the gun does not fire . I neeed any help I can get thanks for responses .
