    well i have been following this post for a while now ... have to say Bill its nothing short of stunning if that was your first attampt mate you should feel VERY proud of yourself ... as i know i would be if i could make something that looks half that good ..... well done mate on a brilliant job ....

    air arms tx200hc ....... beautiful looking .. and accurate straight out the box shoots like its allready been tuned

    generally wal quietly for 20 yards or so then stand still for 5 minuits listening and watching for any movements ... then do the same again

    a mate of mine has a silencer for sale that im interested in ... its a UK Neil custom silencer, now i have heard some very good things about these .... as i have been thinking about getting one anyway, i was chuffed when i got first dibbs on it this evening .... he had it made for his airarms tx200hc .... his is a .22 .......... mine however is a .177 ....... would it still do the job intended on mine or is it spacificlly for a .22? never bought one so i thought i would ask those who know .... thanks

    i use accupell but not heard of these new ones ... will have to get some in .177 flavour ... and see if the tx200hc likes the taste

    no he said you can carry it to a car etc ... then transport it to the gunclub / permission etc but its now illegal to carry it ( or any rifle ) down a public road, even in a proper case or gunbag ??? thats why i thought i would ask you guys about it ... he checked my rifle and i explained it was sub 12 foot lb and that it needed no licence .... thats when he said aboutthe law changes?

    had a police firearms officer here today, whilst here, he said that as of 2 months ago, it is now illegal to carry an air rifle on a public street or in a public place, even if its in a proper locked guncase or gunbag ???? if stopped the rifle can, and will , be confiscated and the owner will not get it back !! he then went on to say it IS legal to carry the rifle to a car etc and transport it to the gunclub / permission etc ..... I dont know if this applies to just wales or not, as its the first ive heard of it before today ??? just thought i would let you guys know in case it

    well done mate and nice shooting ... i also sold my pcp ( s410 carbine ) couldent get used to there not being that crack and bit of a kick .... gone back to the springer too ... aa tx200hc ..... allways used springers since i was a kid .... just used to it i suppose

    i agree with all the above .... learn the area first and get to know it VERY well ... cos the bunnies etc certainly do !! only other thing ... plenty of ammo ( nothing worse than finding theres LOADS to shoot ... and running out half way round ( done that ... lesson well learned )

    i have a samsung E-65 e book reader in excellent condition and full working order, comes with allmost new leather look protection wallet. heres some info on it ... http://www.goodreads.com/ereaders/146-samsung-e65 can store 1400 e- books and memory can be expanded too .... ideal prezzy for someone ... looking for £40 for this ... or .... will swap for half decent infra red torch / laser .... or will add cash for a cheapish camcorder that has nightmode... thank you

    well done bud, and good shooting ... popped to the local woods today ... not a soddin thing there not even a sighting of a squirrel ...... perhaps theyve all gone off on holidays to avoid this bad weather
