Keepdiggin, I run mongrels. My main finder (Unk) is a whippet/ bully cross about 20kg and my two big holders (bobo and Vick) are mastiff/lab/boxer/kelpie 35-40kg and when they latch onto a pigs ears it going nowhere. Bluebell H, I'm glad you enjoyed yourself, the first time I was taken pig hunting I was hooked. A couple of hours walking around the forest then 15 minutes of mayhem, dogs working as a team and getting up close tipping and sticking the pig. Deer hunting is good in the South Island as well, was out last weekend and scored a two year old Hynd. Rob

Hi Guys, new to the forum and was wondering what projectiles everyone was using in their 243's? I've been reloading the Hornady 87gr BTHP and used it on everything from rabbits to red deer with great results. Cheers Rob
