Hi I'm Alice. I have signed up mainly to chat to fellow ferret owners and get advice. We keep our fuzzy friends as pets primarily but do like to take them rabbiting from time to time. My partner and I both ride racing and like to go hunting regularly. We both also shoot and have a lurcher who is useless at catching rabbits but makes up for it by being an exceptionally loyal companion. I currently live in Devon but will be moving to Somerset very soon whilst my partner is based in Wiltshire. We look forward to chatting to you all Alice and Kev

My uncle made me a ferret trap to catch escapees as they used to go camping in/under the hay and straw stacks. But one of my current fuzzies came into the house on its last escaping mission. Which is quite a way from where their shed and run is! So we haven't needed it for them yet!

Poor little man.

As the topic suggests I am looking for a ferret vet in the frome area of Somerset as we are moving there soon and need someone to look after the girls. I will drive a sensible distance to see one but just want to see if any knows of or can recommend a ferret experienced vet in the area. Many thanks Alice and Kev
