Thanks lads i walked about a mile this morning no lifting i was told that but was hoping to be out for a hunt in about 3 weeks.I have 3 pups here 15 months nothing done hope to get them a few easy ones before they start to kick on

Had a hernia op last thursday just back with the dogs.Their gone fat dont know when il be able to go hunting with them.Any of you lads have this op how long did it take you to get back

Sandymere would you have list of the clubs prepan .We did register and had the insurance in place for our trips to england preban .I would be interested in joining up again in the hope of a repeal of the ban and maybe a few trips over.Could even start the irish comp again as i am fairly sure i could get the land.Best of luck with it. -

Yes and their doing it now this time of year. On the vids yea can see the clothing the people are wearing runners and t shirts and the long grass and stubble the dogs are running on yea can hardly see the hare at times .Come the right time of year most of these super dogs will be injured as they are every season .Believe nothing that people tell yea about these super dogs only what yea see with yer own eyes

I had a bitch broke her front leg the vet put a cage on the out side of the leg with pins going trough the leg above and below the break.She was walking on it after 3 days when the cage and pins came of after six weeks she was lame for a week.I started her back walking and free running after that when i had her almost ready to run a man bought her of me [i told him about the break ] he was ringing me that season telling me how good she was .Never went lame on it as far as i heard after . Good luck with yer dog

Summer hunting has gone on and will go on theirs no point in saying anything about it on here .Their will probably be 28 or 30 lads on that bog next week Did everyone not do it at some stage until yea know the difference these lads might be young lads that are only new to the game .Hopefully they get to know whats wrong with killing their own sport before they do two much damage .

What age can yea say a dog is a good one .I bred pups last year their not a year old yet and their showing good sings but i say wait till they have a winter over them .I know everyone in dogs has a different opinion so just wondering what other people think.

As you and others have said if we could just but our differences aside and get together. As in shooters fishermen and people from all the other country pursuits it would be no problem to have the law reversed, I say we because i can see it coming over here fairly soon. Hopefully if it is reversed over their it will prevent it being brought in over here we have alot of monkeys over here ( monkey see monkey do )
