It seems like every time I go to grab a couple of hours hunting it's tipping it down and I can't bring myself to drag my TX200 or the old mans S410 out in the rain...this might just be me being a bit of a wimp but i was just wondering what solutions people have found? Are there any decent, rugged synthetic air rifles out there I should look at? Thanks for looking.

Sounds like a good first outing! We have a lot if crows at the moment, can't seem to get anywhere near them though... What's your night set up like?

Love using my dads for roost shooting, light as a feather and the bolt action is great. Good luck rat hunting, they won't stand a chance against the s410!

Thought I'd follow suit and start a new thread to say hi! I live in Staffordshire and live on a small 20 acre small holding so I'm a daily air rifle shooter. I clay pigeon shoot ever other weekend but that's as far as my shooting experience goes. I can give hunting advise on squirrels, rats (maybe too much!!), magpies etc. looking forward to meeting some cool similar minded folk and reading about everyone else experiences!
