Took your time coming back with that, google slow, your superiors on a lunch break you need a receiver to hear sound. We know how sound is produced but thanks for googling it for us you need a receiver to perceive sound but that doesn't mean it's not there.. If we were able to pick up every vibration or air wave out there, we'd go mad. But we are getting a bit nitty picky now Anyway guys, I only came back on to clear my name. Rumors going about I was smokeyandthebandit and it ain't true. I'd never bad mouth simoman. I've only been the Baw. Right I'm out of here, paulus delete this userna

So if the dog whistle vibrates the air at the right frequency for the dog to hear but not us, does it make a sound? It's only sound if you have something to reproduce it into sound I.e an ear drum. If I sing into a mike that isn't connected to a speaker, no sound will come out of it, same principle.Nope! You can't hear ultrasonic waves but they are still sound, hence the term 'Ultrasound..'They are only sound if picked up by the correct equipment hence why the army used sonar etc if you can't pick up the vibrations, no sound is there Those vibrations you're taking about? They're called 'sou

I'll leave google to you

a question that's been debated and reflected on by some of mankind's greatest minds over the past few thousand years solved by Baw in a nutshell, is there any end to the mans talents? so to expand on that theory, if i close my eyes and can not see the gun i won't get hurt as it doesn't exist because i can no longer see it A gun isn't vibrating air, it's tangeable. But if you plug your ears you won't hear it going off so is a log landing on your swede but if you don't hear it, it won't hurt , vibrating air can cause horrific internal injuries even if you don't hear the blast, so vibratin

I'm still waiting on the lab full of physicians to prove me wrong maybe you can.....

Course it does mate. Time is as real as gravity, speed and distance. Just the other ones I mentioned we can actually see them working. Time for us is a clock on the wall but its far more complex than that. The problem with Time though is that we don't understand the mechanism for it, like space it's more fundamental than gravity, speed etc. The mechanism for the forces of nature are force carrying particles, speed is described by distance and time. But time and space are fundamental, they're b*****ds to explain because of that. Entropy increases with increasing time but that's about the bott

I'll give you an example..... Big crowd of folk, someone secretly blows a dog whistle..... No one hears it, it's out of our hearing frequency but a dog would. He's got the right receiver for it. To us there is no sound. Sound is only vibrating air at different frequencies. We can't hear radio waves, the electricity in our homes...... Unless your ear can pick up the frequency of the vibrating air, it isn't sound. And for anyone to suggest it is, is laughable.

Do you know something born, the tree example was exactly the same example I was going to give but your wrong, the tree doesn't make a sound if no one is there to hear it you see, sound is vibration of the air, it needs to vibrate off our ear drum to hear it so..... No ear drums no sound I'm sat in a room full of physicists that beg to differ chap. You won't hear it, because to do that you need an ear, but it 100% makes a sound. A compressional wave will be induced, which by deffinition is acoustic. I don't care if your siting with Einstein, without a receiver I.e an ear drum, all that
