Hi, do have experience in beating when I was younger when I lived in Oxford. Would very much like to get back in to again. I do have two springer spaniels who would like to join me as well. My bitch who is 2 1/2 hasn't been on a shoot before but loves pheasants and loves to flush, brilliant nose on her and my dog who is only 9 months has got what it takes just needs the experience so would keep him on a long lead. Read your thread about the tax man and beaters and would like to put my hand up and volunteer to beat if your struggling to find people. Hi to all who read this. As the title says I'm a newbie to this site so a big hello to you all. Looking for some advice really and maybe someone in the know. In my younger days loved to go beating in Oxford so have some hands on experience so not a total novice but would really like to do it again, but this time with my two springer spaniels, but just don't know how I go about getting my foot in the door. Just wondering if anyone knows if there are any places left for this season where myself and dogs could join. I have transport so can travel. Any help would be much appreciated. I know I say
