It is a fossil that is fresh out of the London clay bed .And yes it is really that old.Some of the teeth are in really bad condition due to rolling up and down the beach amongst the pebbles Name is otodus obliquss I think,just look it up.

Not normally but was told to put clear nail varnish on it by a guy who was on the beach.

Must have been well out of shape last bank holiday as I thought I was not up to the 6/8 miles twice a day bending down looking for teeth plus climbing over rocks.Glad to say since Starting swimming and getting back on the mountain bike things are looking up .Anyway this time has been worth it finally got a more complete mackerel shark tooth plus a big fish vertebrae.Concentated on finding a big one and after 5 years of looking my luck improved big time.This big one is about 50 million years old.
