Great news after 13 weeks and 4 days I can make a fist with all fingers touching my palm.not very quick recovery.still no strength with the grip though.right hand grip is 10 per cent of left hand FFS .a warning to anyone who has this surgery is have plenty of money in the bank .still no benefits since being disabled and I think it will take another 3 months before I can work again . still can not use a knife.

So latest in a long line of bullshit excuses.my consultant now doesn't have access to my medical notes.this was said after you see the therapist on friday.can only be one or the other surely.doctor is now willing to write a letter that says I can not work but it will cost £40 FFS.therapist has written a letter also to state I can not work but it has not arrived like the doctors note.so after 10 weeks off work I still can not claim feck all as I still have no written proof.so it's looking like a great Christmas this year.just my luck after having a simple surgery to improve hand function.
