Don't limit yourself to farms mate, i found farm permisions the hardest to get. Out of all my permissions only one is on a farm and i got that because i did a farmer a favour and he thought he owed me, try golf courses and ask to speak to the greensman/groundsman, if they dont have the final say they have influence over those who do. Private properties are also a good bet, anywhere where rabbits are a problem and if you can convince them that your there to do them a favour and leavea good impression you will get some good ground. I wish I could be more help mate. If your ever in the nor

Nice shooting, how do you find the ghillie suit, worth a go? Last week i saw a couple of lads on the neighbouring farm near the boundary to mine so thought, being the friendly sorry of chap i am, i would pop my head over the hedge and say hello, only for the two of them to take off like mo farrah! Must not be the talkative types,

sorry lads, was far too tired to write. my brother in law twisted my arm and got me to go up to the farm last night, as we pulled into the farm we saw a rabbit about 40 yards away beside a massive trailer so i opened gun bag and loaded the mag and put the window down. took aim from the drivers seat shooting out of the passenger side. pulled the trigger, TING. i was thinking there is no way the zero could be out that much that its 4-5 feet off target and hitting the ttrailer, reloaded and, TING!! What the fudge was happening! as i reloaded for the third time i realised i had shot my chrome

top shooting mate, cant believe how much hassle you are having with our protectors in blue . probably the same dude ringing in all the time.

Thanks mac. You have to get yourself up mate, the place is crawling. They're shy but you get enough chances. yer mate scorpion sold, I put it on gunstar and was gone in a day. Still looking into diferent night vision options.

Morning all, Had a free evening so did what we all would do if we could and went shooting. dropped bigmac97kt a line but he couldn't make it so i was on my lonesome. got to the golf course and set up a target in the car park to zero. took me 5 shots it was well out, half my mag on zeroing. i had been told by the course manager that they had planted new flowers around the 1st and 15th T off box's and didn't want them eaten so i headed up to the 15th where i could lay up by some trees. by the time i got there and went prone the few rabbits i had seen on a sweep of the lamp were gone, but

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh Den, don't do yourself down! you are an AMAZING shooter! Now, say it with me "I am a great shooter" there....better? LOL WHEN YOU COMING UP TO MINE??? HAHA, you tit! i can barely get to my permissions at the minute. hopefully i'll have less work on soon and have more time to shoot

Just bought an R-10 in 177 and while it has only been to the range so far it is one impressive rifle. i am an average shooter at best so you know your onto a good rifle when you can hole punch paper at 40 yards. have no experience with the brocock so cant comment on those.

I wanted the half mildot but they were all out and it would have been nearly a week and I didn't have the patience for that, the map 6 made me a bit nervous, don't like only having 3-4 points hold over but I did think that now I have 177 it shouldn't be a big problem
-
Nice one mate, you got to take advantage of the weather when you can. How did you find the MAP 6? Ive bought the same one for the same reason but haven't been able to get out yet.

I went to Bagnall & Kirkwood in Newcastle, looking forward to seeing what they can do. hope i don't regret the swap to 177
