  1. I take it that because your only over here for a certain amount of time you dont hold a NSW firearms license so hunting with a firearm is probably out of the question. The NSW government just took State Forest access off licensed hunters about a month ago so public land hunting is non existent at the moment in NSW. I dont really know many people up in NSW that run ferrets so I cant really give you any contacts unfortunately.   2. Fantastic photos there mate 'looks like a great way to spend the day with the dogs. Im curious do the dogs require any injections before or after a bite or two from a few rats..? Or do you just clean them up with some betadine or another type of disinfectant after the hunt. Cheers

  4. I have never noticed a difference over here in Australia 'Vixen 'Dog they are both as bad as each other. It's lambing season at the moment and the foxes have been causing havoc with every sheep farmer costing them big money. A local property owner and good mate of mine lost 19 chickens in 1 night all were killed by a single fox and not one was taken out of the hen house and fed on by the fox. A few nights later we trapped the fox and it was a mature vixen. I have been told that mature dog fox will have a go at the dogs (Small Terriers) and put up a bit more of a fight compared to a mature
  5. Gday fellas I am from Victoria Australia and I am a very keen outdoorsman. I love hunting small game (Foxes 'Bunnies) with both rifle and shotgun I also enjoy ferreting and am a keen deer hunter as well. During the summer I do a lot of fishing and usually dont do much hunting due to too many snakes been active during that time of year. Autumn 'Winter and Spring time is what I call my hunting time.
