  1. I've had both and will say the marksman is quieter but then it should be, it's internal volume is much greater, trick internals help but volume is the king imho. I would say out of the normal sized moderators I've tried i found the new AA mod to be abit quieter than the weihrauch but i find the hogan decimeater to be slightly better then the new AA mod.
  2. watched the vid when it poped up on my YouTube feed, looked like you all had a nice day out with friends & had fun, for me that's what it's about. Well done everyone involved. Mark
  3. I've had the pleasure of owning a few rifles (and shooting other peoples) over the years but for some reason at the top for me are HW100, I've currently have two & love'em. Mark
  4. Hi guys, I currently have two HW100's, slightly different then standered. Still sorting stuff out, will post pics once I've finished messing about :-) . I also have a webly alecto & a HW95, although I will be selling the 95 because I just don't use it so might aswell let someone else enjoy it. Mark
  5. I think it looks nice mate, I just got hold of titanium tube. It's bare metal at moment but thinking about options, carbon raping the same areas as you did on your cylinder is now an option.... Thanks :-) . Mark
  6. I saw this vid earlier & to be honest with you, i'm more interested in the new MTC scope he mentioned then the rifle. Mark
  7. Hi Lewis, in my experience I didn't find washing & lube didn't make any difference (as far as I could tell), there's no harm in trying. There's afew different lubes I've heard being uses, wd40 being one of them. Some people just lube, some wash & lube, some put a very light coating on some put lots on. The main thing is to see if it actually works for your rifle, allthough some say it's more of a psychological thing. Some people even say that lubeing there pellets made there groups open up. So in answer to your question..... Depends, test & see :-) . Mark
  8. Thanks guys, have to say the wealth of info on THL was unexpected. This forum has anything & everything hunting related......,impressed. Mark
  9. Hi guys & gals, I've been a member of other forums for awhile but after kept hearing about THL forum thought I would pop over :-) , even though I don't hunt. After about 15 years away from air rifle, I join a local club for somewhere to shoot until I could get a permission, ended up getting into target shooting. Anyway less about me, time to trawl the THL pages :-) . Mark
