Not money perse, but SHOWING which inevitably ends in money. £500 because they are a rare breed and hard to breed, fertility problems etc. and the hard task of piecing together the wreckage after show breeding and hybridisiation for extra cuteness. However i don't worry bout the money too much if i find the right person for the right dog to pass the beacon onto, to bring the breed onto its former glory. And believe us, even big black fells are nothing on good Glens

was down there last year and bumped into him early in morning with my 2 dogs.spent about 2 hours chatting in a field.staying on caravan site and mrs wondered where the f**k i had gone.he had some great dogs that he said he said were irish bred. These pups are related through their mother's side to the Glens belonging to said chap in Moreton Marsh. Mother of pups' sister is 100 % solid dog from bloodline producing very hard, mute, typical working Glens as they used to be in all their glory. Mother of pups's brother is siring solid 1oo% workers also. 2 other sisters of mother of pups kno

Getting pup used to a cage ?
tortoise replied to Greyduster's topic in Working Dog Health & Training Talk
carriers are the best thing ever, use them for all our dogs, dogs love them too, they are indeed their personal dens for their stuff, bones toys etc and have made our lives really easy. Agree with Ditch Shitter on getting pups used to them and never forcing. carriers are dead handy for any size of dog at any age. On that point any tips on where to pick up good value on them online etc., some of mine are bit ancient. -
half cut!!!! you're well naturalised now Ditch Shitter! with that kind of talk, can sympathise with the freezies out here in the west ain't too far away and if caught short it is well... nasty. i understand your greivance gainst the take some, hold the rest club of poultry cum livestock keepers, but don't worry they wil always come down, esp when charlie or mink finds them again and again and again.... etc, granted for some of the daft besoms takes a lot of slaying of innocent fowl for said keepers... to concede a dig, but when they get a reprieve after cos you got the murdering charlie,

Think wild dog/wolf, feed raw carcasses of chicken or rabbit but when fur/ feather missing coat w bran for horses mash for roughage. If feeding meat trimings of beef, lamb, pork add bran and a small handful wheatgerm meal to bucket load to add roughage and pep. You wil avoid sore bottoms from concrete like droppings this way. Use cop on always think wild dog! if full complement of skin, bones , intestinal contents not available think alternatives, bran, wheatgerm, eggshell, probiotics, Keep it natural, keep it wild

Do you mean £stg to euro, if so £300 is about 450 euro.

If i knew what hacking was i'd tell you, but i can guess. Never kept wheatens, but looking at them, think they are big. The biggest obstacle to more folks keeping working glens here is the lack of them. The turn to show breeding from the 80s onwards mixed them up. As for how many Glens and are they workers, I have a few.. Glens and have kept a good few over time, i do work them and am only interested in working ones. Am hoping that a few more generations dedicated breeding and selecting for best workers will really revive the breed. sorry about that hacking means pulling or drwaing
