  1. lovely Brood Mate. Have They All got Homes To Go To?
  2. One Of My Lurchers Had An Abscess On His Neck At The Weekend. Vet Job, £250 Thanks A Lot. Him And His Sister Had A Barney Over A Squirrel And he Came Off Worse. She Just Nicked Him And It Swelled Up To A Golf Ball Size. Hole The Size Of 10 Pence Piece In His Neck From Where They Drained It. Right As Rain Now though
  3. Poor Girl. That Sounds Pretty Hardcore. Glad All Is Ok Though Bud.
  4. I find if its pressurised water then a small copper beaded nymph can work better than a gold head. Or a black bead equally. I figure the fish have seen quite a few gold beads flying past them and the duller colour is less likely to spook them. Sometimes though, trout can just switch off through certain points in the day, particularly in hot weather, best to try again late evening or early morning
  5. Hi all. Just joined the site and looking to sponge as much knowledge as i can off everyone! Im a mad keen trout fisher but im looking to get into a bit of shooting, got a few mates who might show me the ropes but im keen on learning as much as i can. I've got two nice lurchers that im keen on using a bit more too. Cheers all
