The same reason Starmer will not sack his MP`s who called for a cease fire going against the party line. The Muslim Vote.
  2. They don't need to apportion blame, Its obvious Boris is not going to look good after this, My point is, There appears to be no accountability for actions taken or not taken by anyone else but Boris, I agree, what's the point. The trough needs washing out and disinfecting.
  3. Mchull has had the call from Sunak and is starting work on January 2nd 2024. His brief is to Gooey chop any that are not legal after that date.
  4. Each one is covering there own arse mate. I read this earlier that some had posted who had watched it for the last couple of days. Well at last we know that during Covid Boris ran this country single handedly, made all the decisions by himself, all the mistakes all by himself. I thought we had a Cabinet, a Health Minister, several advisers, WHO and another medical person giving him advice but it seems I was wrong. Bad, bad Boris, why did he get Covid himself and ended up in intensive care, very careless of him, why did we get the vaccine out quicker than others, he must have been a
  5. Watched some of it this afternoon. My god how does anything get done in our Country, The WhatsApp messages were an eye opener, The language used and the mistrust between Johnsons cabinet aids and himself was unbelievable, There was one comment "Boris had the wrong set of skill sets for this issue" It was obvious at the beginning that they were a bunch of headless chickens, going in one direction then another, One of the messages from Boris actually says he was willing to sacrifice the elderly in favour of the young, He even joked about the information he had showed the elderly lived long afte
  6. What i am saying is back then nobody really gave a shit about passive smoke. But i stick by my comments that the right to smoke or not is a choice for the individual and should be a political decision. What next ban razors because they are sharp?
  7. They had the freedom to choose to go in or not, the tobacco ban was the first nail in the coffin. how many pubs are now closed? Most here have been turned into flats in our town centres, Society may have changed but the freedom of choice should still be there.
  8. Local here the birds are all totally wild, been no shoots here for decades now, Up where i was on about last year all you saw was Michigan blue backs, This year its all ring necks.
  9. I was at a place Sunday morning, There had been the shoot there on the Saturday, The field at the top is where the sun hits in the morning, This field was alive with Pheasants they were even all over the patio tables. the next field back there was obviously one that had been missed by those picking up. as i stood and watched a battle between half a dozen buzzards and 3 red kites over it for a around half an hour Lol Yes its great to get out.
  10. Apart from 75% have closed since the ban came into force. People breath in toxic fumes on a daily basis, Exhaust emissions, Bonfires, factory chimneys. to name but a few. The thing you are missing is, it is a choice to smoke and a choice to enter a place with fag smoke. How many people avoided the best pub in town because people smoked in there? Does the government have the right to take that choice away? A very slippery slope if you ask me.
  11. Most of the old pubs from the 60`s had a bar, a snug, a lounge, an outdoor and a smoke room. the outdoor was where people would come and get empty bottles filled up to drink in home, One pub i frequented as a youngster had an outside toilet. that's ok you may be thinking but it was down 2 flights of very steep concrete steps that went down the side of the pub, on top of this the toilet was about 3ft from the canal, Made it very interesting in the winter when the snow and ice was about, especially when you had swallowed a gut full of ale, Lol.
  12. We had a thing called the smoke room in the pubs here back in the day before they all became fancy eateries.
  13. Where i lived in Germany, fag machines were located on most corner houses Lol
  14. From a personal perspective, i have lost 3 good mates who all died within 9 months of giving up smoking, Coincidental?, perhaps!. She has the choice and that choice is hers to make.

You forgot the very strange head ware some choose.
  17. So, if this comes in, a bloke of 32 will be still able to purchase cigarettes by a bloke of 31 wont be able to? The wife had to see the Cardiologist last Friday, He told her she had no signs of Cardiovascular disease despite suffering 2 heart attacks this year. He then went to try to give her a lecture on giving up smoking, She stopped him dead in his tracks with her reply, She said to him. You have spent half an hour explaining to me that my attacks were stress induced and not through disease of the heart, Then you tell me to give up the one thing i have in life that reduces stress. Con

So the Country could do with a Hitler type leader to bring it back on track, Strangely enough i had a conversation whilst at the range yesterday morning and it sort of mirrored what you have written above, Can History really repeat itself?

After taking a quick look back into the History of the Jews, It appears that they have been hated since the dawn of time, From King Herod to the stories of the massacres in the classic works Ivonhoe. It is believed that Hitler blamed the Jews for Germany loosing WW1 But that does no seem possible to me as the Jewish population in Germany at that time was around 1% of the population and proportion to proportion equal numbers died in the trenches, The Nazi party was planning the segregation of Jews from main society in the 1920`s. Can Anybody explain why they are hated Lol
  20. I was sat in ditch pigeon shooting one morning, to my right 2 of them were in the corner of the field. I spotted this buzzard coming about 3 ft above the ground from 3 fields away, As it crossed the last hedge into the field i was in, it swung right and headed straight for these 2, They never even moved even when this buzzard grabbed one of them, It got a right kicking for its trouble mind. at one point the buzzard and this hare just stood staring at each other less than a foot apart, My point being, why wasn't that buzzard seen as a threat yet the slightest whiff of dogs scent and they would
  21. I could answer that, but best not to Lol
  22. Nobody knows how they will react until they are faced with a situation, I would like to think that decency would prevail when it comes to women and kids, But sadly i think that is slowly being resigned to the history books, Have you any idea who the bloke was?, was he a local?, has he been caught?
  23. Its the way the worlds going mate,
  24. As i said i have come across them absolutely drenched laying in a furrow in the plough, when less than a few hundred yards away were dense woodland, Don't get me wrong there was always plenty in that woodland but why some choose to to sit out in the open, is something i never did fathom,
  25. It does with all that water, Mind i have seen them piss wet through flat to the ground in furrows but that grass would have been a magnet to me Lol
