  1. You say that but i have chrono graphed a lot of guns, From no regulators to 1 regulator and now 2 regulators, The strange thing is, the most repeatable gun as far as variation in power goes was an old unregulated Webley raider, .1 ft lbs in 25 shots. I have an FX wildcat here, silly money and i still have my first air rifle given to me in 1977 and it was second hand then, A Dianna 25, To be honest apart from aesthetics and gimmicks there's still very little difference in performance at 30 yards

    Anyone else seen this?
  4. there are a few marinas around here where the carp now spend most of there time, But when its spawning time the head for an old Boat mooring, This place is on an arm off the main canal, Now the canal can be chocolate but this place is always gin clear with Lilly's and duck weed in the summer, The rest of the canal is devoid of weed due to the amount of boat traffic. Floating lob has caught me a lot of big carp, Give it a try mate, If you inject one you have roughly 15mins before the air comes out and it starts to sink.
  5. Not really they have become more technically advanced but the basic principle is the same.

You do realise that the Israeli's actually brought the land that is now Israel off the Arabs?
  8. Its better than last week, it was chocolate Lol
  9. Prefer to keep it simple and just inject them with air
  10. hang the f***ing lot of them then draw and quarter the bodies
  11. I have a fair few over 3lb the biggest went to 3lb 12oz but that was out of a commercial. Each year i set myself a challenge and this year is a 4lb perch from the canal on lobworm. The trouble with using lobworm on the canal is the silt, hence me playing about with air popped up lob worms Lol
  12. A 4lb perch from somewhere i believe has no 4lb perch Lol
  13. I am trying to keep it a simple as possible so 4lb line straight through. The fist Olivet is a 6g held with a rubber float stop but allowed to flow free up the line then about a foot down is a 4g Olivet again held by a single float stop at the bottom and free running at the top, This means i can make the hook length any length i want just by moving the float stops. Plus its all free line to the float so very little weight for a fish to feel. Well that's the theory anyway Lol

Not all as it appears mate, The police were arresting them one by one outside Whitehall and then taking them to the Cenotaph and laying them on the ground awaiting collection from the vans.
  17. The amount of toddlers i see nowadays running everywhere whilst there parents are glued to there f***ing phones is what terrifies me.
  18. Yes, i also cut a couple up and fed them into the swim, Had to avoid a blank Lol to be honest i was mainly testing an idea i have. with popped up worm (Air) using a carp style style set up to keep about a foot of hook length flat to the bottom by using 2 different sizes of Olivet.
  19. It was meant to be overcast but as usual when fishing, the opposite happens. Lol
  20. A couple of hours today on the local cut, Centrepin and bobber with lob worms on the hook, Barges every 10 minutes still, Some prat on the other bank with a leaf blower covering the water in leaves, Had a couple of bites from fish smaller than the worm, Changed to a lob tail and had a roach 6 - 8oz, The water was like coffee Lol
  21. Well that makes sense......Not Lol

  24. The thing is, its not always been like this, When i was younger you could walk through the village and even go in the pub with a gun, Back then people accepted that guns and dogs and hunting were normal, The kids were brought up with it, Fast forward to now and not many kids born here can afford to live here, Instead its full of ex bankers, Solicitors and so on that want to retire to the countryside. Even an ex council house here, and there's not many of them will cost you upwards of £280,000. Hers an example of what the villages are becoming, When i lived in another village a few years ago. A
