I'd stick to a yuasa battery. With a good guarantee you do get what you pay for with batteries. They are cheaper on eBay or cpc.

I got a "4000lumen" u2cree off eBay with flood and spot zoom. Cost £30 converted to single beam (no flashing or sos)and came with scope mount. The beam is great even at 100m its a lot better than my lenser T7, and takes AAAx 3 and 18650 rechargeable batteries lasts for about 2-3hrs on one descent 5300mAh battery and the seller fitted a remote pressure switch for an extra £12 Seems like a good solid torch as I've dropped it twice and still works great.

Hi Yes mate you can just connect the two wires together pos/red +red. And black to black neg- The plug is just a type of connector. Just make sure you don't cross the connections or you may blow the switch on your lamp. There are some good single mode scope mounted 4000lumen lamps on eBay with a narrow beam that use rechargeable batts I just picked one up and the batteries last upto 3 hours and a lot longer with a pressure switch that the seller fitted for me.

I recommend the 4000lumen modified single mode (no flash/sos)version with zoom/focus on eBay with the small square compact beam. Although the lumen reading is taken at 1m in spot mode. But is really bright for the price and uses the same led as the lenser ect but without the high price. They are also available with remote stock switch.

Hi Yes I've tried the red led. Really bright and they come with remote pressure switch. They are better than the ones with the add on filter as the filter dims the led quite a bit. Although they mostly come in give modes with flash/sos/ ect. So I got a friend to modify it to single(high beam mode) and its great.

I am a keen air rifle shooter,I have just recently dug my rapid seven out of the loft after not using it for a few years and have recently started shooting again with my son at the local gun club. Looking forward to picking up some good hunting tips for rabbiting,ratting ect in the forum.
