  1. The 20" will be old stock which is why it is cheaper it will have been bought at the older / lower price. Everyone now just buys the 16" barrel versions of the CZ's as they are more manoeuvrable and lighter than the equivalent 20" version.
  2. Ase northstar like a T8 but stainless and without the rear bush.
  3. You can get them from Deben see the link below. http://deben.com/lights_lamping/lightforce/scope_mounts.php
  4. Might be worth trying Ebike insurance I have a policy with them and another with carole nash. My girlfriends bike is insured through Ebike from when she passed her test.
  5. I bought a pair of the x3m1 telescopic sticks and for £20 they are worth buying, you can get them from lots of places they also do a tripod which will be even steadier.
  6. I'm with Cumbria and can't really fault them, they have been good to deal with and I have had everything that I have asked for which I had a reason to use. My last variation to add Deer and my 6.5x55 was 1 week from me posting it to my new cert arriving through my door.
  7. Just sent my request to join.
  8. The webley and scott are made under licence in turkey I believe and are not of the same standard as the old webley and scott's, I have heard bad reports on them so I personally would steer clear. It is a similar case with the escorts which seem to be hit and miss some people have had no problems with them while others have had nothing but problems with theirs. You may get a good one you may not. I personally would go for a seconhand benelli or beretta if you can stretch the funds, for around £400 - £600 you would get a good reliable gun that should last many trouble free years.
  9. Its a Boerboel (South African Mastiff) I have one but she is not that big. In South Africa the Males that are shown are usually a minimum of 90 - 95kg, and that is for a fit dog.
  10. I have permission on a golf course that borders some of my other permissions and it is great for rabbits especially in the summer when there numbers are high and the ground is dry so we can drive round without damaging the grass. I am cleared to use my .223 on there as I am the field the other side of the fence as the land is deemed safe, having good backstops. We only shoot on there on a night after 11pm once everyone has left and after notifying the land owner and police.
  11. No Im in cumbria and have vermin, fox & deer on my ticket they are classed seperately. I have fox on my .223 & 6.5 but not on the .22lr or .17hmr.
  12. Yeh I have an FX3 and its the dogs as far as I am concerned.
  13. For that money get a secondhand Benelli or Beretta far better gun that will last and hold its value.
  14. CZ 452 with 16" Barrel and £35 SAK Mod. Job done.
  15. Thats what I have on my HMR and think its spot on. Only thing is the high target turrets are quite bulky I prefer the MTC mamba I have on my .22LR.
  16. Well if you want it for vermin you must first have permission preferably in writing from the land owners. Once you have this you can then apply for your FAC for pest control. If you are granted a certificate (the land will be checked by the FEO to make sure it is suitable for that calibre of firearm prior to you being granted the cert), you can then get a rifle for the money you cannot go wrong with a CZ I would go for the 16" barrel which model you choose is down to personal preferance. Put on a SAK moderator £30-£35 and a scope of your choice I have an MTC Mamba 3-12x44 on mine £180 and t
  17. Just got my renewal through for the ridgeback with the Kennel Club its now over £300 for the year going change to these lot http://www.pet-insurance.co.uk/ for the 2 dogs now I think, they are a lot cheaper.
  18. Last lot we took to the game dealers were 80p gutted, per rabbit.
  19. http://www.airgunbuyer.com/Showproducts.as...%20RED%20FILTER! This is what you want then the Tracer Mini Pro Lamping Kit With FREE RED FILTER! I have this one and the Max pro and this is ideal for the rimmy on rabbits although I dont use the dimmer switch I just use the on off stock mounted switch which is easier to use (bigger switch).
  20. I have a MTC Mamba 3-12x44 on my 22LR and find it great for lamping. I prefer the Mamba to the Viper I have on my HMR as it has low turrets. The scopes comes with the mounts included as well. I got mine for £180 new from Uttings.
  21. http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/index...showtopic=63502 Here you go just the job.
  22. I have a male Ridgeback and a female Boerboel ( South African Mastiff ) both are very friendly and great with kids and people we know or people in the house once introduced when we are there. The ridgeback is very vocal and protective around the house away from it he is very sociable with people and dogs. Anyone who does not know them would not try getting into the house. The bitch is 6 months and we have noticed that if they hear a noise outside he will run out growling to see who or what is there while she runs to us and sits infront of us whilst watching the doors to se if anyone is coming
