  1. did you hear of the golden eagle that was taken and died under suspicious circumstances whilst in their care ? The golden eagle was taken from A well known falconer to cut a long story short..........it was a wild bird RL had bought back from Scotland after it had a skirmish with his own Eagle. R L was treating the bird & I think had let Deffra know about circumstances..... RSPCA turned up & took the bird, at this point it was making a full recovery.........they then killed it in their care. Eagles are tough birds.......it takes quite a bit of neglect & miss care to kill one..

  6. What's wrong with a breaking stick? A good tool in proper terrier work............I'm not talking about oversized drawing dIts Its a 16-18lb terrier at most we are talking about not a PB,if you cannot break it off its quarry without the use of a breaking stick then forget about terrier work. It's not about not being able to, it's just quicker......so what? Is terrier work about machismo lolThis coming from the guy who prefers to use a drawing dog at the end of dig.......lol
  7. I lost all my pics in a house move 8 years ago, not just digging pics, but general dog pics as well, I was gutted, but got over it pretty quickly, but since coming on this forum..........I really miss those pictures.....the mind is just not enough sometimes... Im sure you were worried losing your digging pics 8 years ago . ,especially if they were found by the wrong c**ts . Lol......I think they ended up in a skip outside the house...........but most had been developed at Boots anyway, years before............surprising what they would do then lol
  8. Chivas Regal is terrible that's why you mostly get it abroad ....ive never heard of anyone in Scotland drink it ....Im in Singapore and had a dram out it in the four floors on fri night ...I couldn't even finish it Who cares what the Scots think about Whisky............lol
  9. You haven't drunk Whisky till you've had Chivas Regal.........the Best IMO.....closely followed by Jameson
  10. Hello mate, I wouldn't consume pints of that strength & they don't serve it in pints, apart from leffe in some Irish pubs.........I did have 7 bottles of chimay blue (9%) one night & suffered a mini blackout....lol You have to treat it with respect...............it's not all strong though The british real ales tastes just as nice, but beer like that is more appreciated over here............& they say the Stella is better here too...
  11. It may be more difficult if you have the inclination to win shows, as well as work..........but 100% workers? But I think the vast majority of true working terrier men haven't got that............they just breed worker to worker. For me, shows haven't been a positive for working terriers......& especially in recent years for fell types...... £5000 for a terrier......lol
  12. I'd loved to see just one night........................from a distance
  13. Rule 1. Forget about little red ribbons . Why How can you even argue that???
  14. Queen anne legged,a little poetic licence. Its as hard to produce a a consistent grafter as it is to produce a consistent show winner, until you start judging others terriers?.All im saying is because a dog wins a show does not detract from its working ability,in some kennels?.I took on a couple of these smartish mutts, not to long ago,Buster and Vandal,Vandal was past her prime yet grafted as well as any terrier ive ever seen,Buster was as good a digging dog as ive ever seen or owned,in my kennel i was more interested in the work they offered,i showed them and won zilch, the previous owner, better
  15. Rule 1. Forget about little red ribbons
  16. In England 11.3% would be called Genoside....
  17. Fu*k me!! I'm up to 3 pages of Belgian beer.......I'm catching up Mandela.....lol.....& pissed all over Islam in Britain... The mods must surely stop this soon......
  18. Why does a non looker have to be 'queen Anne legged', it's just ordinary working dogs ffs..........I've seen grown men spit their dummy's out over a bit of red ribbon.....it's pathetic!! It's harder to breed a consistent line of true 'stayers' than show winners.....
  19. Must admit haven't tried that one.........chimay blue is nice.....9%...bus terminal not included.
  20. Yeh that's got me worried now........
  21. Breeding working terriers to work, then win shows is harder than telling an easy joke. Shows are boll*cks.............tell me otherwise
  22. Yeh you are good at minimal one lines
