My dad & to a lesser extent a black & tan terrier bitch called skip...... He took me everywhere, encouraged me & provided me with the right tools (in several ways)..... & in his absence she taught me how to trust a dog & dig only to the sounds of faint grunts & rumblings as a very young lad :-)

Not sure if your post was referring to my post but what I mean is this......a plane loses power and starts to fall from the sky but the pilot manages to crash land the plane leaving the plane smashed to bits but no 1 dies they are just wounded ..... Strait away every one starts shouting it's a miracle God has saved them. I think the average London salary is around the 35k mark, but I could be wrong.......I think the main reason is the overwhelming demand for property in decent areas. for what i do anyway its alot better in london than home, and at a guess id imagine 90% of the lads in construction in london get better money than at home. ...& regular work is there, whenever things looked like they were drying up in the past, I be would be looking in London, jump in the van, drive round all day & get a start....but then I was only an 1 1/2 hours away.....

The cost of property is difficult to comprehend, I just don't know how ordinary folk do it these days......my mate & his mrs bought there 2 bed flat they were previously renting, in bermondsey last year.....it cost around half a million & although it's nice, it's not big or particularly special really.....my brother & his family are stuck in a little flat in finchley, with no hope of being able to afford something bigger or a house with a garden.......but they love the London life & are willing to compromise......what is sad, is they brought their six year old over here last su

Nicely put and cant say i disagree as regards the overly religious types .....ive always looked at the people doing well to see how they did it....and so when it comes to looking at a few people around me who are truly content and happy in their life ( mentally and emotionally im talking about not financially ) it naturally pricks my ears up when they say its down to God.....doesnt mean i swallow everything whole but it does prompt me to ask questions and to be honest so far i like what i hear. I'm pretty sure you've wrote this on a previous thread I read a while a go, I've got a 13 week old pup here myself & I have followed those rules & it's worked perfectly.......It dose depend on your circumstances though.

Why limit yourself ?........I also have a similarly contented life but it doesnt stop me wanting more...................just a different type of riches i guess I'll never stop exploring gnash.......new places, new foods, new music, new friends etc the list is endless, but I know these things won't make me any happier, just satisfy curiosity & perhaps give me a more rounded character & an appreciation of life & all it's variables....I'm not looking for answers mate. Maybe I do limit myself, I've certainly never been hungry enough to put myself out & make a lot more money, perh

Praying to god in the face of death is a sign of desperation that many of us may experience, doesn't necessarily mean enlightenment......I'm more interested in the atrocities committed by the religious.....whether it's child rape or all out war, what do their prayers consist of then? Catholics, Muslims, Christians, Jews etc etc.....just seems like a facade to me, a 'get out of jail card'.....Sorry, I don't buy the first part. I did it for a couple of years, working on site & l loved it!.....but then I was only in my early 20's & living near Camden, I certainly never ran out of things to do! Lol I even blagged days off so I could do more shit....pubs, clubs of every sort, gigs, restaurants, museums, art gallery's, markets, greyhound racing etc etc & just exploring the place, I was in my element! Complete waste of time financially though, I blew it all having way too much fun & probably doing way too many drugs......

If i'd had a better education........thats exactly what i would of written . Its the whole point im always trying to make about these prats who jump on the bandwagon of bashing Christianity simply because its " cool " to do so.....the fact that these cool people are in such a minority worldwide always struck me as the ultimate in arrogance to be able to take the piss out of the majority !
