  1. Do you know if they are starting with pcps or gasrams?
  2. Taking value for money into account, the best general purpose scope I've had to date is the Bushnell Legend 5-15x40 AO. The discontinued one, not the latest HD side focusing one that costs twice the price, and, according to some, isn't worth it.
  3. I've had two 95s, both bought new in 177. Really wanted to like the gun. That's why, after selling the first one, I bought another. However gently I held it, and however careful I was with trigger control, muzzle flip impeded my accuracy. And these were the older versions with the barrel weight. As for the , It felt more comfortable in my hands, and I wanted to keep it, but I found the lock time in 12ftlbs very sluggish and the accuracy only so so. I've never had problems with the 97, 77k or 98, but I would still like to have another 95 or . I've considered an SFS tune for the f
  4. The Prostaff series are very well regarded on both sides of the Atlantic. Some say their glass is better than scopes costing far more. The EFR 3-9x40 AO is beautifully made (understated elegance) and competitively priced. The only downside for airgunners is its lack of aiming points - just has the regular cross hairs.
  5. A highly tuned HW77k (the works) in 177 with Leupold 3-9x33 ao efr scope in low mounts.
  6. I've heard that the HW80 isn't at its best at 12ft lbs. I had one briefly in 177, bought new, and it felt lazy and sluggish. I was disappointed since I preferred the weight of the over the 95, and have often regretted not having it tuned in some way - short stroking or whatever. Does anyone know what Tony Wall can do to a legal limit HW80 to make it a little quicker and smoother to shoot?
  7. Hello, and thanks for allowing me to join. I have enjoyed visiting this forum on a regular basis for over a year now, and finally decided I ought to join. Although I am currently living in S. America, and have firearms, my first love will always be airguns, and when I return to Britain next year my rifles of choice will be Weihrauch springers. I may also treat myself to an AA TX200. I am looking forward to talking with members, especially on the airgun section.
