    Nice fella, what NV set up did you go with? Scope or TV? Nice to see some different game on the farm too! I am working late all this week, but have to drive past mine. The crop is knee high, so I doubt I'll be shooting it until harvest time hope you are well fella. Oh and the other perm with the building work should be done in Sept and they asked us to go back down then. So I'll shout.

    I have the .177 full size, I find the weight no issue at all. 3.8kg...I stick a scope, NV, bipod all sorts on it and it is fine.

    Cheers gents. I'm well Skot thanks. Mad how the crap weather and work keep you stuck inside. Mac. Plenty around mate, you might even have got one yourself! Flighty as hell mind, even with the NV. VM it was indeed. Perfect night, clear cool and crisp. No wind. I was out from 8-2 and it only felt like a couple of hours. Got nippy by 2am mind.

    Not been out for about a month with work and travel so was desperate to grab the first chance this week. Looked at the forecast last night and it looked like last night was the only clear night this week, so off I popped. I dropped Mac a bell asking if he wanted to come out, but he had too much graft on so it was solo hunting last night. Mac and I had been focusing on one half of my perm recently so last night I thought I'd check out the other half, which hasn't been shot for 2-3 months.
