Bloody hell, I knew I should have come on here the day after...soz Mac, been away again with work so hardly been on the web. Now I've to try to remember what happened 2 weeks ago and I can hardly remember last night.. I've been a real fair weather shooter this year, don't think the HW110 left the house between Nov and April....every time I went by the fields they were either flooded or covered in snow this year...and can't get the new motor covering in mud, or rabbit gore either. Ill stull give you a shout, the 10-15 yrds is more your range lol. One of the two sites has no greenhouses, you can stick to that one lol.

Cheers Mark, I figure summer will be easier to tell for that, so many leaves and stuff on the ground at the mo, hard to find the poo piles. Even so, there are not many spots where you can see 30 yards unadulterated. Plus on the night, the rabbits were in the veggies and you often only have 10-15 yrds vision unobstructed. Ahh but it is all fun eh!

So I got a call of some fella last week, asking if I would go look at his allotments. He runs two near where I live and they have lately seen a few rabbits around. I went down last Thursday in daylight to have a look. Tough spot with houses to one side and a major road to the other but he pointed out a few spots to look out for rabbits. There must be 200+ plots with loads of green houses and equipment around. I went back at night (he lives next to the allotment and I need to get him to unlock the place on a night. Not sure about you lot but Ive found for the T6 lamps, the higher mA rating, the brighter the beam and the longer the battery power lasts. Ive been using 5200mA recently but saw these and thought Id try them. Not seen anything bigger than 9800mA!! Seemed legit until you read the spelling haha.

Decent mate. TBH I shot 5 pellets the other night, 4 to scope up and one from 30yrds to take the rabbit. But it feels quieter, weight is a good balance, all the good stuff that the 100 had. Only gripe is the 10 shot mag vs 14. And the mag is still a little stiff but I'm sure that will ease. I love the feel of the cover too.

Top gent! He serched out two air bottle for me, offer to collect one from Manchester (but it was sold) but picked the other from Sheffield and then met me today to drop if off. Oddly he trusted a Yorkshireman to cough up the cash he shelled out in advance for me! ? Massive thanks John, nice to meet you and thanks tonnes for the pick up and drop off. My lap top died, so writing this on me phone. Expect typo and auto correct errors (mind, not as bad as today when Durham John dropped off my 12L air bottle and his phone corrected something to "Sodomy"... had me worried). Anyhow, last night, fuinally got a break from work and planned to meet up with Viz and Jimmy. Jimmy said be there for 8, I rocked up just before, Viz followed me in but Kimmy was already hard at it. Well lamps charged, air filled just hoping the wind isn't too strong tonight. Put 4 mags through the 110 to check it, JSB exact, H&N FTT and Bisley mags. These two are 10 shots each on the Bisleys, everything coverable by a 1p at 30 yrds. Think I'll be on these tonight. Hope the wind drops!!

I've put two mags through her in the back garden to zero the scope and that is it!! Bloody work or rain has stopped me getting out. Was supposed to be out last night with Jimmy, but my kind boss set up a call with me this morning, she works in Singapore, so it was a nice 6am call......so no play last night. To top it off, I'm in Germany most of next week. It's freekin killing me!! Desperate to get out. Should have bought the gun in summer not winter....grrrr. Thanks for the tip on the bottle. I'll have a look. John's spotted one in Sheff I'm going to try to follow up on too.

Yeah it's a ball ache. I want to get out but until Mac lent me the bottle I've no way to fill the damn rifle lol. Won't be making that mistake again!!
