  3. buffalo,ram,ox horn are all fairly soft compared to deer antler,camel bone, even some hardwoods,,, buffalo horns a doddle to work with its 1 of the most used meterials in my shed,,i like the stuff as done right it looks the dogs,,,,, takes a hi polish well to you can get it like a billiard ball
  4. cheers for that dude it's the point I was trying to get at, I have know problem hitting stuff with the 9.5 steels but it often seems to pass through what you hit giving it a chance to run off before keeling over, OK in the day as you can usually find it with the dog, but I hate loosing game knowing I've hit it cleanly, for most of my life I've shot rocks and small pebbles from the local beach, and may even return to them, but as every one on tinternet seems to be using steel balls I thought I would give it a go, but like I,ve said I love the accuracy of them but could do with a bit more stoppi
  5. not looking to burst any mans bubble but if your hunting alot,regularly,,, theres no ifs buts what iffs or maybes other then the bigger leads are un matchable,,,i shoot alot of cannys off the perch at night,,ive taken lads out that av had a pocket full of them steel balls with them and well the numbers at the end of the nights will show you proof is in the shooting,,.ive seen it time and time again even out the van window lads shooting at half and three quater grown rabbits hit them and theyve ran off with a 9.5 mill sting mark on them.. again its no dick..measuring contest but catapults and s
  6. general speaking,,if your like my self and dont peticularly like breeding pups but its the only route to go to get what you want then linebreeding is a strong option,. i only breed a litter when i and less than a handfull of close mates are ready for youngsters to bring on,,when your passionate about the dogs you run and theyve hacked everything an more that youve managed to throw at them then it gets your/my cogs working,,what route do you go when it comes to breeding from the good stock youve got? line breed. im not saying ive standards higher then the next man but i do have a standard my d

Great motor for a countryman very reliable and well priced ,,used. ive got an old 2000 reg forester go up and down the country in it covering on avrg 500 mile a week most weeks more. find your self one thats been well maintained with the history to back it up an 1 thats not been dogged. rear suspension can sag on them an result in needing new rear shocks/springs i only buy them with out tow packs,,, rather one thats not been used to tow for the past years. i prefer auto some dont,,, the manuals are great ive had both but due to the milage i cover autos suit me,,, they handle as well on the dir
