    All this talk about winning cups ect is bullshit IMO. Does a breed have to win a cup to be classed as a good dog? yous lot that think so have lesser brain power then the shittest of saluki. Back before this bullshit Internet came about, when men were men and good dogs were good dogs. Back in 80s 90s were a lot of deerhound xs. And some bloody gooduns.     Cheers Taffey, Fuji money couldn't buy the joy I've had with her. No super dog but she allways earnt her keep and kept me smiling. Looking back I may have asked to much of her at times but she never buckled and allways got the job done. As I say weather or not the youngster steps upto the mark who knows but I'm sure we will have some fun together. And that's what it's all about ?     Comes a time when we have to make the regretable decision as to retire our old faithfulls. After a painfull spell of waiting, driving my self around the bend. My old bitch as now retired, she's been a reliable companion and put her fair share of fluff to bed. However a while ago she took a real bad knock, resulting in a knackered tendon in her back leg and her career coming to an end. Dont know who it hurts more her , or me to leave her behind? Any how as its a new year so onward and upward its time for my youngster to take the lead now and hopefully she can keep on as she's doing. Don't know

    To keep it short and sweet if I were you and intended to breed a tidy sort for Lamping I'd use the non ped, boot on other peg if it was mooching and ferreting I wanted a puppy for I'd most likely use the kc dog. Personal preference of course has the biggest influence on the decision

    For any man serious at the Lamping game a good lamp is essential , 100w halogen light takes some beating it's a good light and makes spotting a doddle. Dare I say the LED as started to come along with me more of late As I want to give it another shot I llike how easy and hassle free no leed and battery is if nothing else, I know many spots that hold a lot of rabbits and so I took both me lamps to compare and Gospel is I've glanced across with the LED and see the odd glimmers of eye shine I have then lit up old striker and field appears to be heaving.
