  7. you could always fill the stock with weights and expanding foam ive done it in the past works great and no rattles it also quietens it a bit
  8. i bought one of the first imps from tony wall of sandwell field sports back in september which is a great little rifle but my wife wanted to start shooting so i gave it to her and got myself a standard one so i could see the difference for myself there was a massive difference between the two so eight weeks ago i asked tony to imp it for me and i got it back on thursday and went hunting on friday and what a huge difference, turning a good but twangy rifle into a perfect hunting tool in all honesty i think this imp is better than first one i had and its not full of grease either to all those pe

  11. theres a long list of all the things he modifies in the blue print but the rifle ends up quieter and flattens the power curve
  12. if you ring him leave a message he will phone you back
  13. just got off the phone with john and he said he replaces the valve with a modified self regulating valve which does the same thing increasing shot count.
  14. might be wrong about the reg but thats the way he made it sound with increased shot count, dont know how you can get more shots without a reg i will phone him back and find out for sure ill get back on to you all when i know

  16. sounds like you have the mk1 the se came out late last year around christmas time i think but if you dont have a bolt cocking system its a mk1
  17. i got my imp last week beautiful rifle hard to believe its a springer its more like a pcp recoilless without a doubt the best springer ive ever had and tony is a tuning god and one hell of a nice guy, a quick visit ends up being hours long and the banter between tony and sol cracks you up, such a friendly bunch always offered a cuppa as soon as i get there. sfs is the only gun shop i will ever use
  18. se stands for second edition and the se has a higher shot count around 50 to 60 shots on a 190 bar fill plus its a bit lighter than the mk1 the only down side is you cant uncock and recock it it will double load other than that its a great rifle i own a ultra se and will never get rid
